I am thinking of purchasing some I saw on e-bay that were about 7.99. I wanted to know if I would be getting a deal, THanks!!!

I don't have updated prices, but the Mickey, red, 4x6 autograph book last May was 6.95.

I read on an ebay listing that that one has been discontinued (was there in December) and they were starting at 9.99.

But I've just never found the official autograph books to be THAT expensive that I needed to get one ahead of time...in fact sometimes I'm surprised at how relatively inexpensive things are (I know, I'm weird), b/c I have an expectation that they are going to be 5 times more than they turn out to be. Still haven't bought a t-shirt, b/c those are more expensive than I feel they should be, but the toys and autograph books and such just don't seem like that much moola, sometimes, to me.

way to expensive for me, I got one on ebay to.

I'm thinking that last year we bought the princess one with the places to put your photos and then the autograph on the opposite page for $10. We didn't buy the pen there, they were like $5. I saw some on ebay too last night, but I'm thinking by the time I pay shipping I might was well have gotten it there, plus it's so exiciting for the kids. My advice, do bringyour own pen!

Anyone have more recent pricing than last May?

Last August I looked at a number of autograph books at Dl., and they were $10.00 each.

I agree that it was surprising how relatively inexpensive toys, pins, and coffee mugs were. ( I have to buy a coffee mug everytime, it is tradition, lol)
Clothing was pretty high as well as household items. I guess the purchase thtough e-bay will depend on cost of shipping. SOmetimes shipping can bring the price up so that it would be cheaper to buy at DLR. Just thought the kids would get a kick out of it.

The thing is - some of the ebay items came with a cute matching pen. OH what can I say I love ebay!! I always buy all the family new pins from ebay before the trip! they have pretty good prices on them. If I buy one w/out the pen I will definitely bring some along. I do want one with photo album b/c I am going to buy Dniece, 9 and DD2 an disney instant camera to take their own pics. Don't ask me why these two get such a kick out of taking pics, buy they realllly like it!lol! Thanks for all the advice everyone!

I got my boy the cutest autograph book, ( 1.99) added the prince stickers and some disney stickers to it, and bought a sharpie, total cost 4.00 and it had his name on it ( stickers.) and I added frames on the pages so I can take a pic and put it there, and then the autograph on the opposite page.

last year we spent 16 on each they held pics but this year were gona make something that we can add a pic to

There is one area of exception, I wanted to add, in my toy thoughts. And that's Star Wars stuff. Most of the SW items they sell can be bought at any Target, for less.

The basic lightsabers, the lightsabers with spring action, the blaster, stormtrooper blasters...all available elsewhere. The basic lightsabers were 10 when we bought them, but they are at Target for 7.99. Bugs me.

Then again, they now have these make-sounds and light-up MICKEY head detail lightsabers for 12.50 or so, and THOSE are unique to disney and COOL. We were happy to spend that on such a neat lightsaber. :)

I'm not talking about the build your own (which are also less expensive than the build your own kids you can find for sale), those are relatively inexpensive BUT way way way too big for my kid, they don't have belt clips like the cheaper l'sabers, and DS (or one of us) lost it just a couple days after we got it. (we lost it, but then someone took it and never returned it to lost/found)

They've also had the absolute best price for the boxed potato head Star Wars figurines, like spud tater (darth vader) etc.

Well I was just at Disneyland on Friday. I purchased an autorgraph/picture book for $12.95 and this comes with a gel pen. I believe that just the autograph book was $6.95. I liked the idea of the autograph/picture book because u can have the autograph on one side and then the picture of your child with the character on the other side.
