My DH works with a Dick Short. My DM work with a Martha White and a Willy Nelson. She said its funny to hear them paged overhead.

I went to jr. high school with a boy named Salah Ahmeir Mahmoud(sounds like Mamood). I don't think his name is funny, but I just love how it sounds.
I worked for a company years ago and a new hire's name was Holly Davidson....Man, What are some of these parents thinking?

but the worst one? a business associate. his name was pronounced Shmook. but it was spelled with a "uck".

My father used to have an employee named Harry Pitts, also. I can't BELIEVE you knew one, as well. That's always been my favorite "funny name."

Also - I went to school with a girl named Rosie Meadows, and I have a customer who is retired military - "Capt Morgan."

There's a Dr. Strange on staff here. I also knew a nurse named Susan Smith, and she got a lot of unwanted attention and teasing when the infamous Susan Smith made the news!

When I was student teaching in the 80s, I had a student whose name was Marvelous. I thought he was kidding at first, but the teacher confirmed it. She also informed me that his older sister was Genious.

I also knew a Candy Castle, and almost went to an oral surgeon named Dr. Fear.

A friend of mine worked in London for a German Bank & often had to call Germany & speak to a Mr Dryer. Nothing funny about that until you realise that "Mr" in German is "Herr" (pronounced Hair!!!)

Sorry if I missed this thread, but has anyone mentioned the WDW cast member named 'R'? We met him up front on the monorail & when we asked him what the 'R' stood for - he replied "Nothing - it's my name!!"

By the way is there another Sallieanne out there? I've never met another spelt this way before (my Dads invention)

The father's name: Rayuntez
The baby's name: Rayun'Sha'Nik Deon'Janae Gant

I felt so sorry for that poor baby! When she gets to kindergarten she will have such a rough time trying to write her name!

One last name I have seen keeps me wondering how you actually say it. I don't know if I should post it here or not. It sounds really bad. I didn't realize how bad it was until I said it out loud one day at work. Sometimes when going through names I will read the out loud just for the heck of it.
