We are heading on to the Dream this September. We have an early PAT so hopefully will get on board early. What should we do first while the crowds are lower? I'm thinking aqua duck and then try to eat with lower crowds? ANd where specifically?

We had a early PAT and ended up boarding around 11:30. Since we had gotten up early we went ahead and headed to Cabanas for lunch. We were some of the first there and they didn't even have all the food out yet. We grabbed a table, fixed our drinks and nibbled on what food they did have out. Within about 20 minutes all the food was out and the tables were about all gone. We enjoyed lunch and then went walking around the ship. Before we knew it it was 1:30 and the staterooms were ready.

You could grab a bite to eat at the service counters at pool area and swim for a bit.

We'd sailing on Sunday (!!) and also have an early PAT. The first thing I plan on doing is heading straight to Guest Services to put a gift card on the room, sign up for mixology, etc...then off to Cabanas. :)

We like to eat and then go swimming/ride the Aquaduck while the crowds are still low.

We swim first and eat after. It seems like everyone goes to Cabanas first so we like doing it the other way around.

Typically after boarding, head to Guest Services to get tickets for Mixology etc., head upstairs to buffet for lunch and then relax in the adult area until we can get into stateroom.

We don't swim on embarkation day. We board, head to Cabanas/Beach Blanket Buffet and then head to our room once it is ready.

We usually save the AquaDuck for later in the trip, usually on the afternoon of a port day. If it is high on your priority list for embarkation day then you have two options...1. AquaDuck first and then lunch in a more crowded restaurant or 2. Lunch first and then a more crowded AquaDuck. Either way your total time is going to be about the same.

Aquaduck normally opens at noon exactly so ride that then go to eat in Cabanas, have swimwear with you or on as luggage comes later.

We usually scout out the nearest source of food :rotfl2:

Since we are not pool people, we'd rather seek food and a nice beveridge (preferably out of my carry on):rotfl:

We go straight to Cabana's first, second go up to Palo's and book another Brunch( If you didn't get to online) Then straight to the kids club to get my son's mickey band.:dance3:

We swim/slide/Duck first, then we eat. We had the Mickey slide and pool to ourselves for unlimited runs for a good while before anyone came up. Then I headed down after eating to unpack since our luggage arrived by 2:30 (PAT 11:30), and DH then went up with DD for more pool time. Worked great bc I could unpack without anyone under foot.

If there is anything like Mixology that we want to book that is the first stop.

After that it is food, explore the ship a bit, and then go to check on our dining assignment once this is open (which normally begins at 1pm).
**Checking on your dining assignment is not something that you have to do, but we always need to check and make sure that we have been assigned a table by ourselves as I have a special needs toddler who would not be OK sitting with others.

After that we head to our room, unpack, and try to get our toddler to take a nap before Muster Drill.

To find out when the spa raffle is and what movies are playing

What's the spa raffle and how do I enter!?

The last cruise we did, we went to a dining room for mixology signing up and they had three tables there. one for spa, one for palo (wonder) and one for mixology. Is it different on the Fantasy? do you need to go to Palo the restaurant for more bookings?
