I might be confused but I just read about it on another thread.....I have the wait times and every other WDW app but I did not know this even existed. Does it accurately tell you the FP return times for specific rides? That would be GREAT!
Thanks!:)

The only one I have come across is the Touring Plans app but only if you subscribe to the site. I dont know how accurate it is but I can let you know after our trip in a few weeks!:cool1:

There are many Disney apps.

My favorite is Lines, by the touringplans.com /Unofficial Guide people.

Are you thinking of Mobile Magic?

It is the official WDW/Verizon app and has accurate wait times nd Fastpass information because it gets the information fed from the WDW computers.

This. Your only other option is Lines, but you have to get a Touring Plans subscription.

This is a great app I agree but it does not give FP return times only if there are FP's available and how available they are.:thumbsup2

Mobile Magic's wait times do not always match the attraction's wait times. Neither do the tip boards (even the electronic ones) in the parks. I don't think either of them are directly connected to any sort of centralized system. They may get updates on a periodic basis, but not in real time.

Do the people that rely on them find them accurate?

They are usually close but not exact. They are based on a combination of reports & historical estimates. They are not linked officially to the parks.

They will sometimes show fastpass return times for attractions not operating fastpass that day, that's where the historical estimates kick in by mistake.

The Mobile Magic app does have the available fast pass return times, but you can only see them when you are close or in the park in question. Other than that, it only shows generalities.

The tips boards may be connected to the same system as Mobile Magic.

We found it pretty accurate when we went, but I'm sure it's off on a case by case basis.

Wait times are general too unless you are in the park.

Disney Mobile Magic is free for the iPhone, and it gives completely accurate FP return times -- when it is working.

Unfortunately the app doesn't always work (one morning at DHS it told us that every ride was currently not operating, and sometimes during morning EMH it would only give the see now-moderate wait-high demand-FP available/unavailable data rather then the specific times).

Nonetheless, since Disney started enforcing FP return times (March 7), I found this app to be highly valuable during our last trip. It saved me some cross-park FP runs that would have been useless.

Really, that is good to know thanks!!

We used the Mobile Magic app from Disney with our iPhones. It does show official wait times and Fastpass return times. We found it to be mostly accurate with what the rides showed as wait times.

The app isn't perfect by no means. You can only get the info about the park you are in. At times we were in the park and it wouldn't recognize that we were actually in the park and couldn't look at the times. But overall I enjoyed the app and we used it often.
