What is the easiest way to make stars?

Help!!! I am planning a birthday party for a 6 year old. Its a dance party, so i thought it would be fun to have lots of pink, orange, and silver stars hanging from the ceiling. I have cut some out of cardboard and some out of foam board, but they take way too long and make a big mess. Does anyone have any suggestions on an easier way to make them??? Also, if anyone has any creative party planning ideas that would fit the dance party theme, i would love to hear about them! Thanks!!!!!

Do you know someone with a Sizzix machine? They have several sizes of star dies. If not, how about checking with your local scrapbook store? Some of them will let you use their machine & dies if you use paper you buy in the store. (Places like ACMoore and Michaels don't do this as far as I know.)
