We want to make reservations for Chef Mickey's for either an early early dinner/lunch (if our time is a time they offer lunch) at chef Mickey's.

So, my question is what is the earliest reservation for dinner at chef Mickey's when they don't serve lunch. (im preparing myself for no lunch offering during our next trip)

I do believe it is 5pm when they are not serving lunch. We have had this ressie twice and have been there at 4:30, no one was in the restaurant. The hostess had everyone check in and wait until 5pm to be called to your table.

hmmm....

thanks so much. so, when do they do lunch? typically only in summer?

i was thinking about doing our character meal on the day we do MVMCP since we won't be using a regular park ticket that day. I wanted to to either lunch or an early early dinner so we could take advantage of the 4pm entrance time on the party ticket.

i know we could always just do breakfast, but it is going to be my daughters birthday meal, and i wanted to order a special cake, but think it might be just a little early to do a cake at breakfast

It probably depends upon when you go. We had a 4:30 on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. When we arrived, others were already dining.

Don't know about summer lunches being scheduled there...but we have been several times for Free Dining in September and they had lunches scheduled then. I believe they also do lunch during extremely busy holiday weeks (like the week between Christmas and New Year's when the parks/hotels are at full capacity)

*if* they decide to make it a time when lunch is served, would those lunch reservations be available 180 days out? or do they typically "add" those lunch times when necessary?

i know these are a lot of questions.

dd wants to do chef mickey's (or as she calls it chef minnie mouse) for her b-day but we want to do it on the day we go to the party and not go to the park during the day. we are going to try to catch the dec 16th party. her b-day is the 15th of december.

thanks for everyone's responses. i appreciate the help.
