What is the difference (CL at Contemporary 12th vs 14th floor)

I am being offered a switch to the 12th floor at the Contemporary since my reservation at the Poly CL in September is no longer available. I have been advised that the 12th floor is very limited in Concierge Service. Can someone explain the difference to me?

The 12th floor at the Contemporary is sort of like “concierge-lite” if that makes sense. You still get all the pre-planning assistance. The lounge serves breakfast, midday snacks, and evening hors devours. There is no evening desserts/cordials/wine service. The 14th floor of the Contemporary is full concierge with full day food service. It has very few rooms that aren’t suites. Hope that helps a little!

The 12th floor only has continental breakfast and mid day snacks up until 4pm There is no offering of food after that. Where as the 14th floor has evening snacks.

The 14th floor has a very nice lounge overlooking the MK. They also serve liquor. 12th has no lounge, rather the food is served near the elevator.

Not to stir the pot too much, but I recall a posting earlier this week (maybe even yesterday?) in which someone mentioned that they, too, were being offered Concierge at Contemporary due to Poly. Hawaii work -- and they got the 14th floor.

I know we loved Poly. CL, and if we were being asked to move, would not accept 12th floor Contemp -- it's not comparable.

Seems they should/could offer you 14th floor or if not still available, then perhaps something nice over at that Grand Floridian.
