What is the current gift

On my last ABD they had a bag as a gift in the room on the first hotel. Are they still giving one out or what are they giving if anything? Making my packing list and wonder if I should pack an extra bag which lies flat just in case.

We got a brown duffel bag when we arrived last week for the Australia trip.

Thanks. The pre arrival gift was a small bag which I guess can be for makeup or for men a shaving kit bag? What else would it be used for? Maybe I am not creative enough. LOL

We used the makeup type bag for toiletries and the weird brown drawstring bag to pack toys and activities for my son. I really liked the duffel we got on the trip. It can be configured as a shoulder bag (packs thin and flat) or a little duffel.

Yes we also got that makeup bag thing too. My guy used it to hold our passports, boarding passes etc. when we were in the rooms he just put the makeup bag in the safe.

You could also use it to store your lanyards/pins during your trip.

As for the duffel we pack in it the suitcase and then last night we opened it up and put most of our dirty laundry in it and then checked it. This way our souvenirs could go in our carry on.

I would advise finding a way to distinguish yours from others just for the simple fact everyone in the group gets the same duffle. Including the guides for our candy/snacks.

The kids didn’t realize we were given a bag so when they saw it on the last day they thought the guides gave us their bag o goodies.

We are currently stuck at an unexpected airport with a unexpected layover so it’s coming in handy as an extra “pillow”.

You will each get an ABD lanyard with a nametag, and every day you will each get a pin that reflects the theme of the day. If you look at the Handbook you received for your Adventure in "the box", each day has a themed name. These sets of pins are only available to people who take that particular ABD.

Enjoy your ABD. Just remember, they are *highly* addictive!!
