What is the current drink cup situation onboard? Lids? Straws? Reusable cups?

For our upcoming July cruise we are bringing personalized Yetis (both sizes). That way if they are left behind somewhere on the ship they will hopefully get returned. The coffee doe is important for me because I drink my coffee ridiculously slow and it is the only way I can still have hot coffee toward the end of my cup

@FoodieFriend The Fantasy is the only ship with no Coke Zero on deck. There is ONE fountain in Cabanas on the Fantasy that has Coke Zero. It is not always accessible, so be sure to bring a cup and refill it when Cabanas is open.

The fountain iced tea is "not my cup of tea" lol but there is fresh brewed iced tea in the MDR's.

I bring my own Tervis cup.....large size for cruises....and brew my own ice tea

Another Tervis cup lover here.

Also as far as the paper straws...not a fan so I picked up a set of stainless reuseable straws that I use all the time now and will be brining onboard with me. It has a nice long brush for cleaning and I would rather clean it than use a paper straw and I like the stainless better than the Tervis plastic straws.

Last week on the Fantasy there was a sign between two soda machines which said to use a new cup for all drinks, and if using a personal refillable container, to ensure that it does not touch the top of the dispenser. These signs were not there at the very beginning of the cruise, showed up perhaps on the second or third day.
The sign on the machine itself is still unchanged ("use fresh cup for refill").

Are you saying you'll grab a fresh cup from Cabanas each time you want a drink? Because you are supposed to use a fresh cup each time you refill.

Yeah, it is no different than grabbing a new paper cup just means you have to take few extra steps each time which I personally view as a positive. Or for that matter the same protocol you would use when grabbing a refill in cabanas.

off the Wonder this past weekend. No straws or lids at drink station. (can't comment on hot beverages) Sodas delivered in restaurants generally had a paper straw in them. Not an issue.
