What is the Coffee Situation at Grand Floridian Villas?

I'm getting ready for our first trip as DVC members - YAY!!!!!. We are staying in a Studio at the Grand Floridian Villas. I don't suppose coffee is provided in the room, is it?

If not, do you know if the Studios have traditional coffee makers or are they Keurigs?

There is one package of coffee to use with the coffee maker in the room. It is the regular studio coffee maker.

So that would be a Mr Coffee style (flat bottom basket style) 10-12 cup (maybe only 4-6, but you should be able to get a bigger one if you want). No Keurigs with DVC at this time. You'll need your own filters and coffee except for a packet on each service day.

Here now. It's a 12 cup mr. Coffee. I brought my own flat bottom paper filters and starbucks. They do give joffrey's coffee but it's limited.

you only need filters if bringing your own coffee, as the coffee packets are in a paper filter already (i can't fathom less than one pot a day - for me alone, so we buy/bring filters, sweetener, specialty coffee, and milk). there is usually at least one packet with splenda, equal, sugar, napkin/stirrer, & coffee-mate stuff.

btw, all the studios we've stayed in have had 8-12 cup coffee makers (the prepackaged coffee makes 8 cups, so coffeemakers cannot be smaller than that).

you might want to buy water or bring a water filter though - the water can get pretty nasty.

Just to confirm: still flat bottomed filters for a full-size coffee maker? We'll be bringing our own coffee.
