Today, while watching a television program, my husband and I saw a commercial for Disney stating to join the celebration on May 5th??? :confused3

I realize that the 50th celebration kicked off on 5/5/05, but what is the celebration this year on 5/5/06?

It's our first day there. And we're that special. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Actually I have no idea, but maybe it's for Grad nights? hmmmmmmm.... I'm starting to worry now, are there going to be massive crowds? :confused3

Don't know if Disney celebrates it or not but May 5 is Cinco de Mayo :cool1:

I wonder if it was old commercial aired by accident? For last year. There is nothing on the disneyworld.com home page, nor have I seen any other form of advertisement. I cannot imagine Disney would put a commerical out for Grad Night if it does not state specifically that it is for grads....especially considering that they are throwing everybody else out at 7:00. I thought about Cindo de Mayo as well...I do not recall Disney ever advertising for it in the past.

As OP's have stated, it must have been an old commercial aired by accident. they do not advertise Grad Nite....it's not only one night but 4 or 5 and May 5th is not the first or the last! Although cinco de mayo is celebrated in Pleasure Island...it's not that big of a deal that ther would be a commercial made for it.
