What is the break even point for TIW?

Does anyone have the link to where and on what you can use TIW? I was thinking about getting it this trip.

Don't you also get free valet parking with it? I believe I saved $40 on my last trip from that alone.
Yes, but take it from a very hard lesson learned (not personally but a close friend) the insurance you carry on a rental car (either what you purchase at the counter or your own if it covers rentals) does NOT cover anyone who is not listed on the reservation and that includes VALET drivers. Was a very expensive ending to a meal at V & A :(

I disagree with the belief that DVC discounts are as good as TIW. They are more limited ie only 10 %, not at as many restaurants, and many only offer the discount on weekday lunch. We use our TIW card on dinners and we always have an adult beverage or two with dinner. We buy the TIW card on the years we plan on taking 2 trips in less than 12 months. Yes, it is less attractive as the price went up, but we still save a lot over 2 trips
I'm not sure anyone (here) said that it was just as good. But it does change the math when you can get DVC/AP/disney visa discounts on some meals (though not booze). It is not fair to compare a completely undiscounted price if you are eligible for other discounts. My entire food budget with tips is about $1k for my upcoming trip and I don't have a trip planned after that. I would barely break even if I even did on TiW. I am doing the DxDDP and saving about $250 on $820 worth of food, it's a better deal for me - and paying with DVC discount some OOP stuff (not all, some I just want what i want so paying OOP).

This thread was resurrected from June.
That said, you are correct no one said it was just as good. But discount "stacking" is not allowed
I am also DVC & AP. We choose not to eat TS at lunch hours, so many of those discounts are not available.
Bottom line - as always- folks must look at their own circumstances & do the math.
We are 3 adults. We enjoy an adult beverage with dinner & maybe even in a covered lounge at other times. We go twice in less than 12 months. We do not do DxDDP. It works well for us. It doesn't work for you

Also (not to be lost) is it also applies to bottles of wine. (Including in many of the gift shops ... Because they serve food too ... SSR specifically comes to mind.... With no gratuity added in the shops).
