You don't find it listed under Disney hotels anywhere, but it is definitely within the WDW complex. Also, the sign to this resort is brown, when every other sign that guides you to hotels/theme parks is purple and red.

This confused me too when we saw it being built. I found out that it is not owned by Disney at all. The land was owned by someone else, and they decided to now build a resort there. It will not have any Disney transportation like the Swan/Dolphin have. It is very, very close to WDW properties, but it is not Disney property or affiliated with Disney at all.

:confused3

I remember staying at CBR when that road was being built and getting highly upset at the prospect of cutting down more trees. At that time no one knew what was going there, and since Pop was beginning constuction we figured it was an access to that resort. Also, it was the time of the bad fires and we thought maybe it was a barrier to keep fires from getting to CBR.... boy, were we wrong!

Can you see Bonnet Creek from Caribbean Beach? In the past year no doubt some additional trees were blown down by hurricanes.

I suppose it is too early to say that BC won't have Disney transportation. Fairfield (its owner) could very well enter into a transportation contract.

unless Fairfield gets a contract for WDW transportation service (and it isn't cheap at all) - it will not get WDW transportation....

right not it uses an outside shuttle (bus) transportation - some people that post around here have stayed there.

go on the disney vacation club site and do a seach for bonnett creek.

also go on www.tug2.net - in the BBS section under FLorida and look there.

I think the buses came every hour or two hours - not 20 minutes like WDW buses. but definitely more than the 2 buses in the morning and 2 or 3 buses in the evening like most offsite places.

Fairfield kepts claiming it is onsite at WDW - it is not - it gets no onsite priviledges. No charging at WDW, no gift delivery, no free parking, no early entry or late night staying.

some one is going to buy here thinking it is onsite and end up sueing because it is not....
