We're going to the party Fri the 14th. We're staying at GCH and I made a reservation at Storyteller's for the earliest time (5 PM). Last year, we made the latest lunch reservation at BB (4PM) and that worked very well, but they're closed this year.

I've been reading about the tips for going to the party, and am wondering if eating outside the park at a time when we could be *in* the park is a bad idea. Should I rethink my plan? I had thought we could get our costumes on at the hotel, eat (or other way around) and head in to the park. I figure it would be around 6 PM.

I would prefer late lunch and snacks+candy for dinner.

Eating at 5 outside the park will cause a big problem. Friday between 5-7 you do not want to go through the gates if it can be helped, because of all of the locals showing up.

If you want another sit down dinner, how about Cafe Orleans at 4pm?

Oh! Good idea. I will call right away and see if there is anything left (kind of doubtful, huh?). Thanks...you've been my information guru!! :thumbsup2

Ok! We're booked at CO for 4:30. Thanks again, skiing!

We have reservations at 5pm in the rainforest cafe....I was hoping we could use the monorail to get back into the park....will it not be running??

I'm guessing they won't let you get into the party via the monorail. I think you'll have to go through the main gates.
