What is the best way to book Hawaii?

We would like to use our points to go to Hawaii next year, but aren't really sure how to go about it

How far in advance should we try?
Do we do interval exchange?
Is there a resort to ask for or do we just get what is available?

Go to the DVC member website and go to "member getaways". Look at Interval International, it will give you the guidelines for booking a trade with MS & II and it will give you the points chart for time of year.

It used to give you the link to the II website and show you the II resorts for DVC trades. I can't find that now, maybe they took it away because of the upcoming changes, adding 3/4 night II stays?

Anyway, you can also look at interval international's website for resorts in Hawaii and ask MS which ones we can trade into.
