I read a post several months back about the perfect type of bag to take to Disney. I believe that it was a messenger bag that you could bring on all of the rides. The post had a website that I wrote down but I have no idea where I wrote it at. TIA pixiedust:

can't wait to hear the answer to this one...i've been wondering myself as well because i don't want to take anything too big but need something that can double as a diaper bag.

I just read that post not too long ago. I can't remember the name of the bag everyone was raving about, but I believe the website was Ebags.com:confused3 I, myself, use a bag I purchased from Nordstrom's - "SkipHop" diaper bag. It's not real big but has many compartments and unique straps that clip around stroller handlebars.

I don't know exactly what thread you are talking about, but really the "perfect bag for Disney" is whatever you are most comfortable with. Some prefer a backpack, some like fanny packs, some like a messenger style bag. As long as it isn't suitcase size Disney will allow it on the ride. You just have to be able to secure it. We travel with a school type backpack and don't have a problem taking it on rides.

That said, many DISers like bags made by Bagallini. You might want to lurk around the Tips board for more recommendations.

I hope someone else knows the specific one that you are looking for.

I have a Bagallini and love it. It is a messenger style bag that crosses only one shoulder. It looks small but can carry everything we need for a family of 7.

OMGosh, I can't agree more!!!! I swear that thing is bottomless LOL!!!! Great bag, love it!!!!

I also have the bagallini messanger bag - I am amazed what I can put in that thing! I'm so glad I got it, at first I looked at the pic online and thought it was shoddy. But when it arrived and I kept stuffing and stuffing everything in there I was impressed.

is it the messenger style that everyone loves for sure?
i've seen they have plenty of different types and want to make sure i get the right one!

Some people on these boards recommended the Overland Equipment Donner Bag. I found some colors on clearance from REIoutlet.com and ordered it. My daughter and I both love it so we ordered her one this week! Even though it lies flat, it holds a lot and has several pockets for storage. The strap is nice and will fit across the chest as a messenger bag and it has two pockets which lay flat when not used which hold water bottles and or umbrellas.

Try a shoulder or tote that can be used over the shoulder. You want to keep two hands free. Bring something that can get stained or wet or dropped without causing heartbreak. Dark colors are good, canvas better than leather, zipper closure for security. Leave the white crocodile Birkin at home.
