My family and I can't decide what to do with our MM in DL and DCA. Does anyone have helpful advice?

Be careful you understand what your are asking. MM is only for DL. Not DCA. If you stay at a DLR hotel you get EMH (Extra Magic Hour) every morning at either DL or DCA.

Which situation are you in?

Based on one of your other posts, it sounds like you're staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel (PPH). So, as HydroGuy points out, you're eligible for EMH (Extra Magic Hour), which happens at both parks (one park per day). When are you going?

What to do, depends a little on what kinds of things you like to do. Thrill rides? Kids rides?

DCA (EMH Only): For my family, we would probably head straight to TSMM and do that during EMH. Then depending on the line, we would either go ride RSR or wait and get a FP for that. I haven't been to DCA since Frozen Fun started, so I'm not sure how that impacts EMH planning.

DLR (EMH and MM): This one depends on 1) when you are going, 2) whether Peter Pan is in your "to do" list, and 3) how close to the front of the line you are. Assuming you're going when Peter Pan is open and you want to ride it, then if you're one of the first families into the park, I would head straight to Peter Pan and get that one done. If you're later in the line, I would be tempted to do the rest of the FL during EMH and skip Peter Pan until later. The Peter Pan line will be long all day, so I wouldn't waste my EMH morning in line for it, when you could probably get a lot of FL finished instead.

If you're not worried about Peter Pan and/or you aren't doing the FL rides, then Tomorrowland is pretty much the only other part of DL open during MM. So I would head to Space Mountain and ride that because it seems to have the longest line of the TL rides throughout the day.

I second this completely!! I would strongly recommend for DCA you do not go right to RSR and wait until just before the regular crowd gets in- the line will go from like 30-40 mins long as soon as EMH starts to walk on before the park officially opens. Start with TSMM, which will be a walk on until the park opens. I also haven't been to the Frozen fun so not sure about that craziness.

For DLR I would strongly suggest PP and also Matterhorn- there is no FP for either ride and as soon as the park opens the lines get line and tend to stay long (other than EMH we never found a time for a short line for either). Other rides like IJ have FP's so you can deal with lines if they happen there. Also, if you are going during the holidays Jingle Cruise gets busy so hit it early. GL

EMHs for DCA are on Sunday , Monday , Wed. , and Friday
EMHs for DL are on Tuesday , Thursday , and Saturday
unless there is a special event like a marathon where they switch up the days

At DCA, this is what I would do since my kids want to meet Anna and Elsa:
Go immediately to CARSLAND. Use wide right technique to be one of first people in line for RSR. Then ride Maters since it is right there. After, go on Toy Story, then to the Anna and Elsa meet and greet for tickets.

After picking up the meet and greet tickets, get FP for RSR at regular park opening time.

For DL, if interested in Fantasyland rides, do the following:
Be in line at main gate NO LATER than 30 mi prior to park opening, preferably 30-45 min. Head straight to Peter Pan, unless you don't want to go on it, I which case skip it. Then do Dumbo, Snow White, Pinocchio, Mr Toad, Mad Tea Party, Alice in Wonderland, Matterhorn.

You will have used up your hour going on all of the above. Might not get through all of it in under an hour based on people and your walking speed.

Then get a FP for Autopia and go immediately on Space Mountain if you like roller coasters. If not a Space Mt. fan, then go on Star Tours instead and Buzz Lightyear. If time before your Autopia FP, head over to New Orleans Square and go on Pirates or Haunted Mansion. If time, do both rides then go back to Tomorrowland to use your FP. Or ride the railroad from New Orleans Square to Tomorrowland station and then go on Autopia.

As far as I remember, DL's MM/EMH only includes Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. So attractions like Indy Jones and Jingle Cruise are not available until the park opens to everyone.

This! In fact that whole side of the park is blocked off.
We were bummed.
