Get down there early. And if you are a DVC member I think you may still get early access to pool wristbands.

You can get wrist bands and towels after 2pm for the next day so you don’t have to wait in morning.

We’ve been arriving By 7:30. You can still get chairs then. If you’re picky about where you sit, you should get there earlier.

Familiarize yourself with the rules by asking a staff member. We were confused about them and tried to ask another guest, who told us wrong information. When we were there in January 2020, people were there early but there were rules like you couldn't put out towels until a certain time. Chairs left unattended for more than x amount of minutes were cleared.

The basic advice is just get there early.
