I have been reading another thread regarding affairs and divorce, and it's really bothered me. So, I decided to start a thread on the wonderful things about our spouses. So, what's the bets quality about your spouse?

I think one of the best things about my husband is that he is such a nice guy. He can talk to anybody and can make himself feel welcome at all times. Everybody says what a nice guy he is. He doesn't think he's better than anyone, and he's not intimidated by people who are of a higher status than he is.

I can always depend on him in the hard times.

He's got a big........sense of humor! ;) He can always make me laugh. I think our goofball attitudes help our marriage out. We can pretty much find something funny in most situations. :teeth:

He's living somewhere else now. ;)

My DH is a terrific dad. ::yes::

Mine is too. I have a BIL who is not so great, and I see nothing attractive with him whatsoever. My husband didn't have a father, so that he can be a good one is even better.

DH's great qualities

Complete loyalty. I know he is always on my side, no matter what. I'm so grateful when I read posts about in-law troubles that I have a spouse who truly meant that "foresaking all others" vow. FIL is a bit of a chauvinist pig and very early in our marriage DH made it very clear to him that he would treat me with respect or else.

He's very supportive, although he will tell me when he thinks I'm completely nuts. ;)

Perfectionist (okay this actually drives me nuts), but I have to admit that whenever he takes on a household project it is completely beautiful once it is done. He just takes FOREVER to do anything. I.e. 4 months to finish painting the LR/DR area. It is really nice now that he's done though.:D

AND - he's a GREAT father, very hands on. DD is completely crazy about her daddy and it's obvious he feels the same. I really feel like I have a great parenting partner. When I go out with friends, he takes DD out to dinner and they go to the mall playground or some other activity. She loves their "dates"!

That was so funny, I think. Are you still married to him?

For about a week or so. Then the divorce will be final. We get along so much better now.

DH is an all-around terrific person, but one of the very best things about him is how WONDERFUL a father he is to our two little boys. He loves them unconditionally, disciplines them wisely, teaches them to love and respect God and others, roughhouses with them to their little hearts' content, and just basically has a fabulous time being their Daddy.
And he's just as great a husband as he is a father. I am truly blessed.

:) Great Dad!

:) His presence, doesn't work late, spends a lot of time at home w/the family

:) He gets me (and not everyone does)...almost reads my mind

:) He completes me (he is social/ I am not)....ect... we work well together

:) He is affectionate

Gosh, this is a good thread...I like spending time thinking about why I love him, .... I also read another thread that really made me nervous... I suffer from a general distrust of men

I do really love my husband....Thanks for the thread:)

That no matter what...he ALWAYS loves me and continues to put up with me even at my worse times! I have been so blessed with a wonderful DH and couldn't have asked The Father for anyone better! :love2:

My husband is the most patient guy on Earth, and the most easy going-it is almost impossible to get him angry. The biggest complimet I give him is that he reminds me of my Mom.
Love him more than anything!!!!:lovestruc

Jesus Christ is his Savior and Lord.

Oh, I can't pick just one. My DH is the best. He makes me a better person by not letting me get away with stupid stuff. He's funny, smart, more outgoing than I am, he's adventurous, he didn't give me crap about becoming a vegetarian, he makes me a priority in his life, he's nuts about the cat (we don't have any children yet), and he doesn't even leave the toilet seat up!

Can't post just one, but patience, caring and understanding are on the top three.

He's living somewhere else now.

I can't name just one. I think I married a saint. I am so high maintenance and he is so patient and kind. He is my soul mate, my friend, a super Dad, my lover, my everything and plus he makes me laugh. I love to spend time with him and look foward to us growing old together and sharing in more adventures.
