What is the best DVC resort for a family of 5?

We just got back from OKW and it was really roomy. We have stayed at BWV really love it there and the location IMO is the best. But would love to own at BCV . I called member services and asked about the 1 bedroom at BCV for a family of 5 and she said it is for 4 guests... but she said they don't really care or check how many sleep in it, that a 2 bedroom would be a waste of points.

What do you guys with a family of 5 do? Where do you stay and what do you rent?

We are buying DVC in January and I am trying to figure out how many points we need (want )

Akv would be the best resort point wise, because their one bedrooms officially sleep 5 (except for the values). They have a sleeper chair in addition to the sleeper sofa. The 1 Br's in Kidani will also have an additional bathroom as well.

I would say AKV as well. OKW has the largest rooms though. Both great resorts.

One bedroom villa occupancy is 4 plus one child under age 3, except for designated AKV units that accomodate 5. We limit occupancy discussions to This Thread due to them being highly volatile discussions at times. Thank you.
