What is the best breakfast spot before the park opens?

My favorite place that is really close to the parks is Storytellers in the Grand California Hotel. You can also visit Goofy's Kitchen or Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel but those are just a little further away.

Imho, mcdonalds is the best, really quick and very accurate. ..unlike the mcdonalds near my house. Should you opt for that there's a 15% off coupon here which lowers the price in line with regular mcdonalds

I scoffed at the idea of going to mcdonalds last time but it was so closer to the Carousel Inn and so easy that we went a bunch of times and i wish i had printed these coupons, but they did give you a coupon for two egg mcmuffins for the price of one if you filed out a survey online, which i did use since we went there like 5 times in 3 days :)

That has a lot of useful coupons, thanks for posting the link!

My "best breakfast" would be different from my go-to breakfast to get into the parks.

I'm a big fan of the La Brea Bakery Express at DTD. Good selection of lighter a la carte options and not everything is carb-heavy or calorie-laden.

It's one thing to do a big, heavy, sugary-y, carb-heavy breakfast buffet on a laid-back vacation day, but it's not for us when we want energy to tour the parks for 14+ hours. I stick to fruits and protein and save the calories for getting me that corndog for a late lunch or dinner.

Jolly Holiday Bakery is a great place if you just want to see rope drop.
They have good food and coffee!
