What is the benefit (entry timing and attractions) of this BOG PPO ADR?

We arrive 4/15 with 6 day PH. Me, DH, DS11, DS15. Looking for info, because keeping this ADR means making some other changes to our day 3 plans - we will be starting in MK, park hours 9-6. Was originally planning on hitting frontierland and adventureland attractions then 10:30 CP breakfast (request of DS). *Edited to add- These plans will change If we keep PPO ADR.*

I now have an 8:25 BOG ADR. Couldn't resist looking when I saw the posts that the PPO times had magically appeared. There are menu items that would be appealing to my family. Being light breakfast eaters we would likely share adult entrees or order off of the kids menu. I have a BOG dinner ADR, so simply getting into the castle is not a reason to keep the breakfast ADR..

So....what is the benefit of an 8:25 BOG ADR besides the food and location? Is that early enough to make a difference in our options?

If I were you, and my first rides were in Adventureland, I wouldn't keep the reservation. The staging areas wouldn't grant you much time ahead of everyone else. The closest you could get is the Liberty Square bridge, which is the entry point for only those with reservations. I suppose you could go there after breakfast. Otherwise you're stuck in front of Pinocchio's/Peter Pan area. On top of making sure you are wherever you want to be before 9, to make sure there is any advantage above everyone else. It's ultimately up to you, but since you already have dinner at BoG, and breakfast at CP, I wouldn't try to fit in BoG PPO. You can still fit in plenty of rides in before your CP breakfast. Just get to the hub before opening, and stage yourself accordingly to get to Adventureland.

Thanks for the feedback. I am leaning towards sticking with my original plan.....but If there is great park-entry/Fantasyland benefit to the 8:25 ADR, I would put off Adventureland/Frontierland and move CP to a late lunch. (Our BOG dinner is a different day.) When would I be able to get past the hub? Any chance of beating Fantasyland lines?

It is super beneficial if you want to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Peter Pan, or any other rides back there. You can usually get in a ride or two before the crowd. You can line up, and the usually start letting people ride a few minutes before official opening. I've seen kids riding the carousel the entire hour before official opening (at least the back half). I believe they let you pass the bridge any time before your reservation, beginning at 7:50 or so, and even let you inside to eat anytime before your reservation. That may have changed, but that's what they used to do, at least the last time I did a PPO in October. I personally love seeing an empty Fantasyland, quite the opposite on how it normally is! As a photographer I love focusing on the details I couldn't normally with the crowds.

Also keep in mind that there is a good possibility that the park opening hours will change to 8 rather than 9 - especially since that is the week after Easter.

Thought it was far enough from Easter.....but yes, now that you mention it...I have seen lots of discussion on the dis about park hours changing as dates approach. It definitely wouldn't hold the same value for me if it ended up not being PPO!

Our last vacation we did 4 MK days. (We have two small early bird children) The plan was to always RD. The first day we did the opening show, then proceeded through the castle to Peter Pan, parked the stroller and got in line. We were with two sets of grandparents who didn't really have any sense of urgency...what so ever. The wait was about 25 minutes when we got there at 9:10. Another day, we RD Adventureland then Frontierland. This was the most efficient, relaxed day of our trip. Our last MK day, a Saturday, we had a PPO BOG ADR. We finished up breakfast around 8:45 and got in line for SDMT. Then we got out of line because my oldest said he didn't want to ride because he got too smushed the last time. We waited over by PP. DH and DS5 walked onto Peter Pan, while I sat and waited with DS2 (he dislikes most dark rides.) I watched the crush of humanity pour into fantasyland. We seemed to be ahead of the pack for the rest of the day. (We also didn't have two sets of grandparents with us this day.) At the time, my DH said we were always going to do BOG breakfast.

Our next trip, I'm planning on an Adventureland/Frontierland RD with a Crystal Palace late breakfast and trying to get a PPO BOG ADR for our other MK day.

Most families were still inside BOG at 9:00am. As two adult park goers we were able to get in and out relatively quickly, but it still took a fairly long time to get through the queue and for our food to be delivered. We even pre-ordered, but it didn't seem to help much.

Now this was back in October 2015 so BOG was newer. Maybe it's less in demand now? But there were so many people trying to eat at the same time. It felt like hundreds.
