What is the 7 day contest ticket package worth?

Our family goes to Disney multiple times a year. However, we haven't been to Universal in ages.

I'm just curious, what would you say the value is of the 7 day multi-park ticket that was awarded in the recent Universal Heros contest?

If you had to purchase it, what would it cost?

$95 for all 7 days? Or do you mean $95 for one day? The ticket is good for 7 consecutive days, isn't it?

Wouldn't that be $95 x 7 ?

Or am I not understanding this correctly?

It is $95.00 for the 7 day 2 park unlimited ticket.
not $95.00 a day

THAT is why Universal got my business this year!
We are always on a tight budget and I do love Disney but can't never seem to find enough money to get the tickets and since Universals tickets are reasonable and we love it there anyway it makes our choice easy :goodvibes

Winning the Universal ticket won't change our plans for any of our Disney trips.

However...

I am seriously thinking of giving Universal at least part of my hotel stay business ;)

And I can tell you once you stay onsite and get the unlimited Express access, any other hotel...including Disney...will pale in comparison. You will hate having to stand in lines at Disney...just warning you now.

Well, your post does sound intriguing! :goodvibes

I've stayed in every hotel on Disney property (with the exception of the one devoted to the military) but I certainly wouldn't mind splitting up our stay on our upcoming trip. It really all depends on what rate I can get.

Ziggie, if you have AAA membership, you can get up to 35% off the room rate on certain dates.

If you stay for 4 nights or more, you can use the supersaver rate.
That rate beats all others.
Super saver rates are available to anyone, there's no catch to it.

We do indeed have AAA macraven, thank you for letting me know :) Let me ask you... is the AAA rate better than a FL resident discount?

I agree. We went to Orlando in December and stayed at the RPR for the first night to get our two day FOTL, then went to Disney (we rented a house offsite). We should have gone to Disney first, then to Universal. We have become big fans of Universal.
