What is the 1st thing you go to when entering MK?

take a very very slow trip down the middle of main street...stopping in front of people to make them trip in us as we take about 40 pictures of the castle.

Just back and this is exactly what we did, We wanted to soak it all in.

The Haunted Mansion, really quickly, trying to avoid the trolley dancers.

We have a different route every year we go.

The absolute first things we do though without a doubt are:
1.) rent our stroller
2.) eat breakfast at Crystal Palace

Everything else just depends on the day

We usually go either to fantasyland or adventureland.

I have to say I too get really choked up at the sight of the castle, just thinking about it right now has goose bumps coming up on my arms. Once I have gotten myself together, HM is the place to be!!

Usually we do Spalsh MT. first, to avoid the long lines later in the day. Last time we went we did Dumbo first since I now have a son!

My favorite thing to do is wait for the monorail to go right over my head before entering.
Then wander down Main Street and "take it all in"
Then, since DH is so tolerant of my Disney addiction, head over to
Aloha Isle for his Dole Whip,
then, watch out everyone as I race to the Haunted Mansion
(or as I like to call it "home sweet home")
HM is also the last ride before we go home.

go to guest relations at town hall to see if someone has asked to do that day's flag retreat!

If it is our first day, we head right to the barber shop for DS's haircut. If it is a 2nd, 3rd, etc day...we head right to Buzz Lightyear and "shoot weapons" per my DS. ug: ug:

The only constant is a slow walk down Main St. to the Bakery for a cinnamon roll. We always grab a table around the corner, on the lower terrace (actually a smoking area but we've never encountered any smokers there early in the morning) so we can look at the castle and just savor being at MK!! Before kids, we went to SM first. For years after the little ones began accompanying us, we'd have to go to Dumbo first. Now, Buzz seems to attract us more than anything else.

I like to take is all in and either up to the train station and look right down at the castle or go to the middle of Main Street and do the same. I like to walk down Main Street to absorb it all then either right through the castle or to POC.

Just being at MK is what I enjoy!

ok 1st things 1st, we go straight to the photographers for our annual main street picture in front of the castle and then to FantasyLand!!!!

DDs visit the character meet directly to the right, while I stand smiling smack in the middle of the street, blocking traffic, and think "At last! Back home."
