Oh, my, aren't they fun! :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Both of the Republican guys running for Governor here in Florida are jumping all over the "traditional marriage" band wagon.

You remember that one, the one that includes "till death do us part".

Both are divorced!

DAH!

Indeed, and let me CROW - Gwen and I are about to celebrate the big 20th anniversary - leaving for WDW in the AM!!!

You know, just like they have the Darwin awards, we could start the "Glass House Awards."

What do you think of that?

Awesome! Get it rolling!

(I've got to keep packing ... keep packing)

What a great idea!

I can think of quite a few candidates - hypocracy should not go unrecognized!

You know people, this might be something that just might work. Perhaps we should get it going.

I wonder who the candidates should be?

Can't wait to see what you all come up with by the time I get back!

That is an incredible idea and I'd love to see it take hold and become nationally recognized!

Shall we begin nominations?

It's an awesome idea.

I think it needs a home - something less boring than Lambda Legal, something less exciting than the Advocate. Perhaps something like GLAAD? Of course, I'm sure I could convince my social foundations or women and gender studies department to host such an even like Harvard and Yale do for other things.

I think we need categories and nominees

Perhaps a special Rush Limbaugh lifetime achievement award. :thumbsup2

Ok, I guess Rush has no gay specific examples of hypocrisy.

How about the whole Jeff Gannon - Jeff Guckert White House male prostitute, favorite shill reporter scandal. That one was indeed award worthy!

I wasn't thinking of just gay related hypocracy. Wasn't there a "family values" politician who divorced his wife of over 25 years who had cancer for some 26 year old office worker? Who was that and is that a candidate for a Glass House Award?

Perhaps you are thinking of Newt Gingrich who actually asked his 1st wife for a divorce while she was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery.

He was having another affair while very publically criticizing Clinton for the Lewinsky affair.

I think their houses are made of 5/8" thick plexiglass.
