What is school bread?

I have seen it mentioned as a favorite snack but never heard of it...any help?

It's a bread that is filled with a Vanilla custard pastry creme and topped with shreded coconut. It's sold in the bakery in Norway for about $2.50.

It is soooo good.

I like it too. Some folks don't like it. But it's freakin HUGE. Not the best idea for a small snack if you're planning to eat all of it yourself.

Yes, Norway is the only place where school bread is sold. It is a Norweigan pastry.

Don't order it to go! It is huge and the CM that waited on us squashed it, jammed it, pounded it into a little itty bitty container.

Needless to say, we didn't enjoy it!
