What is Sanaa?

Where is it and what kind of food do they have? Is is TS or CS?

Sanaa is going to be the new TS restaurant at Kidani Village at the Animal Kingdom Villas opening up in the beginning of May. It is taking reservations for DVC members right now, but you should be able to make reservations if you aren't DVC in a couple of weeks from what I was told.

I forgot to tell you they said it was African cuisine with Indian flair...so while I have no idea what that means...it may mean good, it may mean bad. I can say if you don't like either cuisine, it may not be worth it.

I don't think I'd look at it that way. I imagine there are many people who don't think they like African inspired food who enjoy Boma and Jiko. Ditto with Polynesian or Pan Asian food and Kona Cafe.

I would imagine it will have a mix of things so most people can find something to enjoy while expanding their palates a bit.

But I guess time will tell.

I guess I should get around to making May dining reservations.

I guess you are right. They said they will have a tandoor oven, so I am happy one way or another. And like we always do at home...if when in doubt, order the kabobs. Both cuisines have kick-butt rice and kabobs. No one will go hungry.

Truth is...until they show a menu...we have no idea what it will be like.
