What is PS, and how do we try to get it?

I have seen a few comments about PS, which I assume is preferred seating. Is that correct? What is it, and how do you get it?

I think what you have seen is priority seating. This just means that all your ressies are not really ressies. You are given a time and when you get there it is the next available seating. It is not for an exact reservation. They usually clarify this and explain it when you call for dining. They want you to understand that it is not a reservation, it is a priority seating. You will be seated at the next available table of your party size.

Priority seating is what disney use to call the reservations. Then it changed to ADRs now I think they just say dining reservations.
