Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Eight days away from a stay at the Coronado tower and the Chronos Club. We aren't planning much park time this visit, but I love Chronos!
My happy place, enjoy!!
144 days and counting here until we’re back at Chronos.

We were last there in March and they had really improved the afternoon offerings since our previous visit, quite a nice surprise!

Hope you don't mind me asking an OT cl question. I'm having a senior moment. This is how my friend is listed in MDE. I can't download her Halloween party ticket (and I haven't bought regular ones yet) but I can see it. Are we listed as being able to manage eachother and will I be able to make LL for her? I have no idea how/why I forgot this. Thanks!

Just watched a few good videos of the more recent offerings at Chronos today! Do a quick search on YouTube, if you haven’t already! Looks like they added some items since our last trip! We are looking forward to it as well! Have fun and please take some pics for us!
Ooohhh, yay! We really love the food offerings at Chronos because it has always seemed a bit more geared toward adults. So seeing something new has me intrigued. I will try to remember to come back here and post pics

If you can see her ticket, but can't download it that means she has her own My Disney Experience setup with her own email address.

You can only download a MagicMobile pass for someone that you fully manage within your own profile. Once they have their My Disney Experience, they manage their own tickets, MBs, room charging pin, etc.

Since you're linked as "planning together" it means you're sharing your information so you can add her to dining reservations, LLs, and VQs (if those were still a thing).

Depending on how far out your trip is you can test the LL. It should show 3 - 4 weeks out depending on your resort reservation and say when you're both eligible to purchase based on the tickets you have linked and park passes (if those are necessary for APs, legacy tickets, convention tickets, etc).

Thank you!!! That all makes sense now. Last trip my friend didn't have her own MDE account. Whew! We have a few weeks but I want to be ready for LL day lol.

Hi all - I posted this in the main resorts section, but now I am thinking that we may do a CL stay. My DH and I will be visiting in January for a more low-key trip where we will actually be hanging at the resort and on the balcony a decent amount of time. Are there any CL resorts/room categories that I could choose that would guarantee us to have a water view and a full balcony? I was leaning towards YC, but I am not sure if any of their water view CL rooms face the pool. Any and all suggestions welcomed!

I’m not sure I know what you mean by open. They have French door that opens out to a smallish seating area with 2 metal chairs and a small table. I find the chairs super uncomfortable, but that might just be me. Haha

some balconies at at some resorts dont have an open railing ....it can be a wall that obstructs your view if you are sitting

The ones at BWI are open but very small. Also, the CL lounge & most rooms are on the 4th floor. But half the deluxe CL rooms are on the 3rd floor. We requested a room on the 4th floor but did not get it. We had to go up & down a flight of stairs to the lounge. Which isn’t convenient when the lounge is full & you try to carry food back to your room.

Ok - my mom and I are booked in a couple weeks for a 1 night pre cruise stay at GF. I've stayed once before back when they had sugar loaf (I believe it was called). It was over 10 years ago. I've never stayed in the main building. My mom has never stayed at the GF or CL so she's in for a treat. Neither of us are worried about the construction - that won't bother us.

I'm trying to figure out how we should spend our day. I know we want to use the lounge as much as possible. Maybe walk over to MK area and take the boat to WL. I LOVE Geyser Point and she's never been there. Or maybe walk over to the Poly?? Can you see the fireworks from the GF lounge? Thx!

Yes, about half the water view rooms at YC overlook SAB, with the lake in the back ground. Those rooms also have a roof below them. So standing up & looking down, you can see it. Sitting you see the pool, lake & Boardwalk.

GF RPC has theme park view rooms that look towards the marina, lake & MK. I haven’t stayed there but Poly has theme park & lake view rooms that look towards the lake & MK.

I have been too lazy to go to the restaurant threads with a review. However since it’s a club level substitution type thing here it goes.

Dd30 and I had the Geo82 Fireworks package booked for 7/28. We asked and told check in starts 7:45 p so we came back to the podium then. They had us all wait in a lobby. About 5 groups of us were there early, we did not get seated until 8:10. The server brought water and offered champagne.

He explained you get 1 tower of food and one plate of desserts.

You can have champagne, a margarita or an old fashioned , as many as you want as part of the package . However you only get them until 9P when we bring desserts and the service stops.

Just wow! We have done so many add on events over the years but 45 mins basically to order drinks ? Kinda ridiculous for the $$$$!

The lounge was fun for my Epcot loving DD who was proposed to in front of the BALL back in 2021. The champagne glass looks like the ball and the ice cube in her drink had that shape too!

The food was yummy and well presented. The desserts were also good. Dd was smart and every time he served a drink she ordered another. Remember she just had her baby 3 months ago and her first visit back to the World with alcohol back on her menu. 😅😂

The fireworks view was nice but the music Disney keeps trying just doesn’t have the feeling in it like the old stuff. Wishes for example never gets old.

Here are a few pics.

For the price we won’t go back. Should have been drinks at least until 10. Kinda boring after the fireworks. You were done with food and no more drinks given. I can’t remember if you could buy more? However after the hefty price tag I wasn’t spending more. We took ride share to poly and grabbed free wine and desserts instead and watched HEAfrom our patio.
:offtopic: Did you consider leaving feedback? I know you had other issues with it but with regards to the start time I saw chatter about the experience and thought of your experience. They started at 8pm and the claim to be CM says people are seated at 8pm. On the surface 10 mins late doesn’t sound like much but percentage wise you got ripped for like 20% of your package time... Side convo in that thread here

I watched a review on YouTube where the lady stayed at contemporary and had access to both the atrium and tower club lounges (was a special exception?). She seemed to have a higher opinion of atrium than tower saying the food was replenished more frequently and they basically had the same food offerings. She also was there during spring break and was saying that tower was more crowded than usual which also made it less enjoyable. Anyone here stay at both and can share a comparison of the 2? Also I hear that CR and GF RPC are leagues above the other CLs. Is this accurate? I’ve stayed at GF RPC and would agree based on that experience, but haven’t stayed at all including CR (tower or atrium). Thanks!!!

You don't get access to both CL lounges it is only for the lounge your room is located on. But since it was Youtube she may have been simply breaking the rules since some folks that make Videos think the normal rules don't apply to them as they try to generate click.

Yes the same food is offered in the Tower CL and the Atrium CL lounges, and yes by definition there is normally more traffic on the Atrium floor due the the sheer number of guests. They share the same food options at the resort.

A while back only the Tower Club had sushi offerings but the Atrium Club stepped up their game and started offering sushi.

She also was there during spring break and was saying that tower was more crowded than usual which also made it less enjoyable.
The crowd levels on the Tower CL varies widely but during peak seasons with all the suites full it does feel crowded since the lounge space is smaller.
