What is primeval whirl??? I have been to WDW about a zillion times...and I have never heard of this ride??? Is it an older ride that they have renamed??? What park is it in?
Thanks...Kirk...Your opinion must be close to accurate...b/c I haven't heard much about it...now I remember its in Dino Land. It wasn't opened yet last time I went to AK

I thought the Whirl was a fun and quirky rollercoaster that was well worthwhile. A lot of grins for me on this ride which I rode three times in one day at AK.
I enjoyed the Primeval Whirl, too. It whips you around at times, and you zoom up nd down, but nothing terriying or wild. It was fun in a gentle sort of way.
I have a friend who calls this one Chester and Hester's Tilt and Hurl. Seriously, though, unless you are super sensitive to making a few spins, it's a pretty tame coaster.
I saw this ride on my disney DVD and had decided not to go on it. But you all say its not that bad? I dont feel so well when I get off the teacup ride, but if I space out the rides and dont go right back onto another one I wont hurl. So maybe I should try it???? just dont know.

Go on an empty or near empty stomach and try it out - it is not that bad in my opinion but a lot of fun and grins. If you feel a little off afterwards there are a lot of places in AK just to sit back and watch what is going on
Our family loves Primeval Whirl. It's not scary and we laugh hysterically as we squish one another. I have quite a few pictures of it, you can find them HERE.
I don't like roller coasters but this wasn't too bad. It does tend to toss you around in the seat though. I kept banging my head on the seat and with a clip in my hair - it was quite painful!
