what is POP week? Made a new ressie and very AFRAID.

First of all, I am too addicted to Disney.
I have a vaca in late July and I just booked a hotel rack rate for Dec. LOL.
12/5 - 12/10. Couldn't help myself.

2 questions...What and WHEN is POP CENTURY WEEK....and if you have a hotel room only booked, can you apply a bounce back to it????

I think you mean Pop Warner. It's a league of football players & cheerleader competitions for ages 8 to 16. They have their "Super Bowl" at WDW Wide World of Sports Dec 5 to 12. 64 football teams and 500 cheerleader/dance teams.

Are you staying at Pop Century? I don't think they stay there.

We will be at POP from 12/5 - 12/9.
Maybe they be stay at the AS.

Some people have reported trouble with large groups of teens during this week, being loud at the pool, etc. We stayed at Pop during PW week in 2006. We saw no sign of cheerleaders or football players at the resort. In the parks I saw maybe one group of 5 girls in matching shirts I suspected were cheerleaders and that is it. They were not a problem for us. They are at their competitions most of the day I hear.

I wouldn't change my plans because of Pop Warner. They won't be much of a presence at Pop Century, but count on seeing them in parks, etc. during the week. Heck, they were all over the airport last year and on both my flight to from WDW!
