I will be on the dining plan. Thought I might try Fantasmic for dinner so i can get the special seating for the show. What is offered on the menu for this package?

this for the first time in June so I have been reading up on the package.

The meal is a fixed price including an appetizer, entree, dessert and standard beverage. The price varies by restaurant for those not on DDP. It can be any item in those categories on the menu. For those on DDP it is one DDP credit for Hollywood and Vine and Mama Melrose and two for Hollywood Brown Derby.

So you get an added appy and a shorter (usually) wait for Fantasmic with your DDP credit in exchange for an off hour dining time.

I've been to Brown Derby Fantasmic Package before and loved the rest but I don't want to use 2 credits on the plan so this year we are going to Hollywood and Vine with the package. You will have your dinner on 1 credit of the plan. then you'll get an admission ticket/bracelet that guarentees seating at the show. They are not the best seats but they are guarenteed, you will have to go about 30 minutes before the show starts for your seat, but it beats the long wait line for entrance and the possibility that without seating you may wait for nothing as that all seats may be taken. Some people have waited 90 minutes.

I don't think it is off hour, we have this booked for 5pm. That is the time I usually eat

it's all in the personal perspective. Our ADR is at 4:45 and we know we have to shift our lunch earlier due to the dinner timing. I keep looking for a 5:00 slot, which is the latest available, but haven't had any luck.

Maybe I should have stated it as times when demand for these restaurants is lower.

Do you have any idea how lucky you were to get a 5 pm dinner seating? That is the latest you can get a Fan. package dinner reservation. As a PP stated, Fan. package meals are available at 'off-peak' times, so they don't impact 'regular' ADRs. Even this is really early for us-we generally eat between 7-8 pm.

To the OP: As the others have said: you select an app, entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage from the menu of that restaurant (or help yourself to the buffet at H&V). At the restaurant they will give you a voucher to present at the gate reserved for Fan.guests.

Make sure you get your ADR made ASAP on your 180 day. When are you going?
