What is??????-most expensive/never would buy

a hooded tigger towel. me & my friends were going to mickey's not so scarey halloween party and we decided to go in costume. Well...costume were more than we wanted to pay for and/or weren't available in our sizes so we bought hood towels instead and got our faces made up in the parks. I've only used it one other time...also as a costume.

Speaking of bricks.....mine is a BIG waste of money. I bought it on my honeymoon with my now ex-husband! Now that I remarried, I have a brick that I can't even visit because, well how inappropriate would that be!

The irony of it all is that if I stood at my brick, I would be facing the place my DH and I got married, Sunset Pointe.

I do know that for a nominal fee I can have my brick dug up and the words changed on it, but then I'm sinking even more money into the brick!

I think the $17 for that "spray fan" is pretty silly, but when it's hot in August I guess it's neccassary. Ok, how about this...a brick with all of our names on it, that we don't even get to take home for $99. The silly thing is everytime we go we have to visit the "brick"!! I always feel like that brick will someday be my headstone. Heck when visiting it, it's kind of like visiting a family grave...I swear everybody kind of whispers gathered around that stone. Plus you would think for $99 we wouldn't have to go clean it off every time we go. That should be included. Oh well, it does have a great view of the seven seas lagoon. :earseek: :rotfl2:
i want a brick too i wondered where those came from

Great thread

250 on a dinner for just the two of us. It was our honeymoon and we knew when we went back to WDW it would be with a little guy. It was the best steak and company I've ever had.

Now c'mon Diana Lyn, I am sure without much effort you can think of something you could use that brick for that would involve you and your ex. :badpc:

Oddly enough my DS was talking about this last night, tried it, and it burns.

The Community Board has random topics.

Mickey head shaped ice cube trays for $5 bucks each! But I love to have ice tea and see my own hidden mickey floating!

A characture portrait of my son at Epcot in France. Think I paid 25.00 for that and it doesnt look anything like him.
I didnt want to hurt the "artists" feelings so I didnt say anything, now I wish I had.

Hmm..now I am feeling really bad. My biggest "splurge"...gulp...$800 for "assorted artwork" at WDW. (I am now hanging my head in shame)!!!

Well our biggest splurge in Disney was a framed painting for $1000! I would never spend that much money on "disney art" if I were not swept up in the moment! :scared1:

But it does look good in out hallway.

I think the other thing would have to be our bricks. We have 3 of them. One of the $99 ones. It is "beachfront" on the way from the MK to the GF with a view of the water...LOL! Everytime we find it, it is covered in sand! :earseek:

We have one of the $250 25th Anniversary bricks. What was I thinking?!?!? We have never even visited that one because we are never at the TTC! LOL! We always stay onsite, and never go to the TTC where the 25th anniversary ones are! LOL :rotfl:

And the 3rd is our wedding brick over by the wedding pavilion. We like it & it commerates our FTW. But seriously, what is the point of a brick? :confused3

I "own" all these bricks. Bricks that can pulled out anytime Disney wants. What a waste! :rotfl2:

But did that stop us from putting our faces on the wall infront of Epcot? HECK NO! That is more money down the drain! :rotfl2:

Man, I need to start saving this money & putting it toward our trips...LOL! ::yes::

$12 for two pairs of socks for DS when he soaked himself (pee) all the way down to his socks. DH was acting totally like it was my fault. We had spare pants and shirt along, but no socks and it was quite cool. I saw our day at Epcot going south fast, so I ran into the closest store and bought the only kids' socks they had, a pack of two.

When I did laundry later in the condo, I put in a pink item that I thought wouldn't fade and ruined one pair of the socks. That made me sad.

Ahh, so you know what I mean about the sand problem. We must be neighbors!! I always take a squirt bottle with me to clean it off. I think us "Brick Owners" need to organize and unite. Demand that the keepers of bricks clean them for us. :teeth:

Pins, pins oh yeah did I mention pins!!! What in the world was I thinking? What am I going to do with all these pins? What a waste of money. But I had to have them. :teeth:

That's where our brick is too but it's only covered about 50% of the time we visit. I assume the brick cleaners do make checks once in awhile because we have left stuff on our brick which would not just blow away only to find these things gone by the next morning.

We started getting caught up into pins when pin trading first started but when we added up all we had spent on them, we stopped pretty quick. We still buy some special pins, but they are more for our own enjoyment and not for trading.
