Is this a package or what? Im so new and so confused. I havent booked yet and am wanting to go June 16, 2007. I have to learn fast is im going to save any money.

Rack rate is the full price cost of a room, without any discounts applied. It's what you want to avoid paying if you can!!!!

Im wanting to go 6/16/07-6/23/07 but the week after is okay too. I am really trying to find out the best way to book this trip, should i book now if im wanting to stay pop, or can i wait and see if any specials come up. I dont know whether to do it thru disney or an authorized travel agent, or would even make any difference? should i book package or buy everything seperately? Please, any info will help.

There are several things you can do actually. Dreams Unlimited which sponsers the DIS would be able to help you with packages. Sounds like a package is your best bet if you're needing tix to the parks and possibly the DDP (Disney Dining Package) may be a good thing to look into as well.

Keep in mind the time frame you're looking at is very busy summer "peak" season. There will probably be some discounts available but I wouldn't wait to book it if this is the only time you can travel as June is a very busy month at WDW and there are possibilities of resorts being full.

If you're a AAA member, contact their travel agency dept. You might also want to compare the costs of a package vs. the cost of purchasing an AP with a room discount (and even a DDE card (Disney Dining Experience). Seems a MYW (Magic Your Way) may be your best bet. Also check out the Disney website to see what's available and what type of rates they are quoting. You can also contact CRO (Central Reservations) and see what options they have.

YES, lots of "ways" to go, but if you want to find a discount your best bet is to shop around a bit and check out your option.:thumbsup2

I wanted to also add if you are a nurse (your DIS name gives that impression), you might want to consider the S/D as they have some nice discounts for nurses. You may actually get a better deal there (and the S/D is a deluxe) than at POP.

And the S/D are the Swan or Dolphin hotels that are located near Epcot. They are run by an outside company (not Disney) and offer special discounts for government, nurses, teachers, and other categories.

They sponsor this forum as well and you get to their website by clicking on the banner at the top of this forum.. or
