What is involved in adding a code discount to an existing ressie?

If you already have a room ressie, are CM's less likely to say they have the code available (if/when a public code comes out). In other words, you are most likely already coming so need for Disney to add incentives.

Or will they gladly add the code discount to your existing ressie?

Exactly how does the process work? Do you call the same number you originally booked through, give them your conf #, and simply request the code?

Have to watch for codes. You have to call back and remodify. They won't!!

In addition, once you hear/read that codes
are available for your time period,
there is absolutely NO guarantee that your
resort ressie will come up "available" when
the CM checks for you.
You may have to whittle down your existing ressie
until the computer tells the CM the code
may be applied, and then make a split ressie
with the code applied to part of your stay
and whatever rate you are given for the rest.

I know, it sounds complicated, but it may be
that you are blessed & get the code applied
for your entire stay - but be prepared that you may not.
You'll have to make a decision quickly,
as there are a set number of rooms per resort per time period
that are available to be booked at code rates.

The more flexible you are with your dates and/or resort,
the better your chances at getting a great rate for your entire stay.
