What is inside that big ball at EPCOT?

Like all the others said, it's Spaceship Earth. It's a pretty neat attraction.

According to DMIL during my wife's trips as a child, its a ride that shows offices & office workers.

Personally, I thought it was a real snore of a ride... and I am even a fan of Carosel of Progress! We skipped it the past few times we were in the World. I have not been to it since the refirb ... maybe better now with the interactive part. I'll give it another shot next time

Spaceship Earth is so much fun! You will enjoy it OP.

We are going in May, and I rented from Netflix "The History Channel's Modern Marvels : Disney World." Our entire family really enjoyed it. From DH to DS (2.5). It gives a really interesting view of the Epcot ball being built, among other things. I really recommend watching it.

We were there last year during the refirb and got to go on it during one of the few times it was being tested before it was completely open full time again.
Since we happened by at the right time we decided to go on in. My 5 year old son LOVED it and kept begging to go back to the Ep"E"cot ball.

Do it at least once!

My son loves this ride. I have also found that it is a nice place to take a quick nap after being in the parks all day!

Before our first trip to EPCOT in 1980-something, I thought ALL of Epcot was inside the big silver ball:rotfl2:

ROFL ... but who knows one day Disney might invent the sci-fi Doctor Who's TARDIS and fit it all in that space :)

The Spaceship Earth globe is certainly one spectacular piece of architecture!
