OMG, I'm sorry but the horse is dead dead dead for now. We can't even agree on what is allowed and what isn't with regard to the Terms and Conditions. Why should guests be punished for Disney's pathetic technology?

NONE of us know what Disney's intent is. I'm sure we will find out eventually, but the constant complaining about how horrible and rotten guests are that are using Disney technology without error is really getting old.

This is Disney's fault for allowing this to happen. If they want to tie the FP to the admission media, they should do it and eliminate changes. If they want to keep the flexibility of changing FP for guests then they have to come up with a way that doesn't lock up innocent guests.

They are a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY

I've never suggested accounts should be locked. I'm just not sure that blue Mickey heads for all is the way to go.

And my interpretation was that Grandma was a mean old scammer cheat that deserved sirens, handcuffs and yes, as you said, the boot. Goes to show how individual interpretations aren't the best course of action.

I think it's sweet Grandma's family that are scammer cheats that are exploiting her for extra FPs. If poor Grandma gets the sirens and boot then she really has no one to blame than her family. But like I said, Grandma should know there's an issue before she gets to the FP line. Unless family didn't tell her so she has a heart attack when the sirens go off and then they inherit all her money...

It's actually turning into a near 2 year break...and I honestly don't miss it.

It's liberating in a way. My kids (raised on crystal palace and cape may breakfasts)...don't say a peep either. Though they will be happy to go back when the time comes.

The return on dollars spent is just eye opening...when you take the blinders off.

Everything else has been interpretation and guessing.

The sad thing is that after all of these posts, arguments, interpretations, accusations, etc., leading up to locked and disappearing threads, this is probably the only real truth that someone has posted!

Does anyone actually have any firsthand evidence/information that Disney has made any of these changes to the FP system???

With the 1,000's of members that read and post on the DIS either these supposed changes have affected 0 people here (because nobody here is a "cheater") or you would have thought it would have affected many people and they would have posted something...

What I initially thought were people posting helpful information because they knew what was/is going on, now I'm not so sure of. I think this is one of those situations where the line between fact and fiction is blurred and some people, unfortunately, are unable to see or know the difference.

Evidence would be great. But firsthand evidence such as what? Someone posting here in this forum that it happened to them? Would they have to be someone that has posted previously on the removed post for anyone to believe them?

I'm not sure what proof would be enough for people to believe.

The Mods have said that SDFP and CPFP "strategies" for extra FPs are against ToS. The strategy is not allowed to be discussed here because they are against ToS. They have said that using those strategies will result in MDE accounts being locked. Do you not believe they know what they are talking about? Where do you think they got that info?

What "evidence" will you need to see? Screenshots can be photoshopped. Emails can be faked. First person accounts can be made up.

I agree with you that we don't KNOW anything for a fact. We can just go by what we are told. Personally, I believe the DIS mods, and I believe what a couple of people at WDW told me personally. Other than that... I take everything with a grain of salt.

While I find all this very interesting, am happy that the issues are being resolved before my visit, and plan to follow it as it goes along, I'm not that concerned about what will happen when I go to use my FPs because I'm getting our 3 FPs each and using them and then requesting more as the day goes along.

...I stayed at AKV but spent little time on the property...and won't be back for a year and a half. The whole family is already off a year...

Much different though compared to a solid 2-3 times a calendar year since swiping my ID for the last time nearly 15 years ago...

I'm sorry, but I disagree with you here. If someone purchases two tickets for themselves then they are allowed the benefits those tickets provide to them, i.e. 3 fastpasses per ticket.

The problem, as I understand it, is people who use FPs on MBs that have not been activated in the park. Why wouldn't just denying access to the ride be the way to go? That solves the problem doesn't it? What is the necessity to do anything else?

Cause that would be the only way they are "entitled" to use them in that fashion?
