I’ve had fajitas on my mind lately, because there’s just something so comforting on a cold night, to have that sizzling hot skillet served to you with all that wonderful goodness on it. I can’t say I’m a lover of fajitas, I don’t order them often, but I am a liker of fajitas in the winter and usually get them once each winter. For those that don’t know what fajitas are, here ya go…..


Now that we read up about fajitas, let’s get our sizzle on and tell us today……

What type of fajitas do you typically enjoy?

For Me……As I mentioned above, I like fajitas, not love fajitas. When I do order fajitas in a restaurant, I typically order chicken fajitas. Truth be told….i would prefer beef/steak, but I hate chewy meat, and many restaurants have chewy beef/steak, so to avoid that, I order chicken, unless I know that I’m at a restaurant that won’t give give me shoe leather if I order beef.

Back in the 90’s, we’d make them at home every Friday or Saturday night.
I guess we got sick of them at some point. Now we have them maybe once a year.

I'm not a fan of fajitas. The last time I ate them was when our carry-out order had fajitas instead of enchiladas. I prefer chicken over other meats.

I make them three or four times a year at home: chicken, beef, shrimp, but never just veggies.

Maybe once or twice a year I’ll order them at a restaurant.
