Buffy, said the dirty word! Buffy said the dirty word!!!!

However, I should not say much.. 18 years ago tomorrow we had 2" of that stuff on the ground.. it was flurrying when Mom took me to the hospital to have PJ!!! First snowfall of the year, thus the reason my Granny nicknamed PJ "Snowflake"!! She even wrote a poem about her first great-grandchild!! (The only child to get one because she got ill the following year)

ya are making me really cold
I'm wearing pants today instead of my usually shorts - need to find my house shoes

You all have heard the parady song of the "12 Days of Christmas"? and the one guy talks about sending Christmas Cards? Think of that as I say
"Yoo Hoo, NORWAY!"
I completely understand about the 2008 trip because that is how Im beginning to feel about the Baltics!:scared1::scared1:

and DH just booked us on the Fantasy for 2013!

but on the bright side I am finishing up some holiday pages for my little neices this morning.

Snow? We still have a few temps in the low 90s!

:hippie:

Still no word. She's hanging in there. I freaked out the principal yesterday though. We were in a meeting and mom called, I was like I have to get this!!
Poor guy had no idea what was going on.

I did say the dirty word!!! I'm so mad right now about it. I just don't know how many more winters I can take.

Sorry!!! If it makes you feel any better I'm wearing shorts and the heat isn't on yet.

I always had 2 dreams growing up - going to Disney World & going on a cruise - parents always took us camping
Dh promises a cruise (with disney after the boys leave home)
Richard has to run in the room so I can't see him going & James loves to throw things into the water (I would hate to see what he finds on a ship - anyone leaving their book, shades on a chair would be overboard)

I get cold when the temp goes below 70 - yea, I know I'm a wimp

what do ya think of my swap parts??

Love those Reddy! I hope I am in that group.

Just got home from the store- madhouse@ A little house cleaning to do, and I have to get dinner in the crock pot. We are having a pumpkin carving get together tonight at 6. I hope to have a little down time for a little swapping. I am like PN96 though and need to clean my scrap area badly

Buffy  the waiting is so hard, hope she's not in any pain :goodvibes

I turn my heat on a bit, and wearing my slippers already...feet get cold!
looks like the clouds are clearing a bit here.....we keep hearing we are going to have a bad winter :scared1:

these are great ideas, how could I forget the shopping?!?!

dreading it maybe so your mind blocked it - at least I'm dreading it what do you get a 14 & 16 year old boy?? that doesn't cost a fortune

This weekend is a wash for me. I worked last night and have to work tonight. Going to sleep a little in the morning and and hope I wake up rested. I was up in the middle of the day today. It is my first shifts since vacation. Always hard to get back to night shift. I want to work on a poster inservice for work on sunday. We will be watching the Philadelphia Union playoff game and the Buffalo Bills are actually on TV here. I'm glad we decided not to get tix to the Union game. I think it will be a little cold.
I have to start working on getting my page kits for my scrap getaway in January. Going for 4 nights and 5 days. Have a lot of prep work to do.
Hope everyone is staying warm and out of the sn**.

It's snowing...I hate it. If this is a foreshadow of our winter, I'm moving.

I love watching it snow as long as it is gone in a couple of hours & the roads don't ice up - if it snows in South/Central Texas stay home, no one can drive in it. The Farmers book said we were suppose to have a mild winter then more dry weather in the summer, not as hot as this last year but I really hope for rain.

The question is where would you move too?? the weather seems to be bad where ever you go

the getway sounds wonderful
changing shifts must be a pain & is awful - I used to love working nights, fewer mangers hanging around, I could get alot done

No scrapping for me! I've got the sewing machine out. What kind of mom says "sure, lets make new Halloween Costumes this year" less than one week out? I was up until 1:30am Thursday getting a Ravenclaw robe done for one daughter and I am working on a witches outfit that needs to be done by tomorrow - 1:00.

But we had fun last night -- the whole family went to see Spamalot!

No scrapping today for me. My family is visiting so we took their dirt bikes out. I spent a nice afternoon visiting with my mom. And to all my friends in the yucky weather, I'm sorry. I ended up with a sun burn today. It was at least 75 and gorgeous out in the sand dunes.

Hopefully I will get something done tomorrow!

maybe once you get there something will get you going again at least you can be with friends so enjoy the people you are with -- maybe use the journel as part of the pages - use a big font then that will take up alot of space so maybe just a picture that goes with the journeling

what is wrong with the cricut?? I'm changing cutters when mine dies - no idea what yet -- maybe resetting it would help (I don't remember how to do that - moving the carrier, turning the dials & pushing a button but I don't remember which order)

Reddy was right!
I went to the crop, unpacked my stuff and sat there. Wandered around and looked at all the stuff. Read the CM demonstrators magazine.

Finally the demo came over and asked me what the trouble was. Overwhelm. She gave me a' kick start' and I ended up cranking out 30 sides of "picfolio" type pages, complete with titles.

HER baby bug cut the lettering PERFECTLY the first time, every time. Maybe it was the Reminisce Paper? How did I miss seeing the Summer Reminisce? LOVE IT!

Christy, How did the funraiser go? HOPE y'all didn't get snowed on!

I don't know if this is a record, but we've got more than a couple inches of snow out there. It's kind of crazy.

Move to? I'd move to Florida. While I know it's hot and rainy, I can stay indoors a lot ;) We had over 60 inches of snow before January 31 of this year. If this is the beginning of our winter, I will not be able to take it!
