What is everyone booking for Summer 2027?

We (myself, my husband, and my two young adult children) are booked on the 7-night Mediterranean on May 22! We are actually all very excited that The Wish is going to Europe. For those who haven't experienced The Wish and are concerned, please don't be. She's beautiful, and there is a lot to love about her. Of course, everyone is going to have a different opinion, and I'm not saying that people who don't love The Wish are wrong; I'm just saying that this is their opinion, and you need to experience her yourself. We have been on every ship except the Treasure and Adventure. We have actually cruised on The Wish herself twice, and we (only my husband and I this time, which speaks to what I am going to say next about the adult areas) just spent 10 nights on The Destiny. We don't find The Wish Class difficult to navigate, we don't feel like the adult areas are an afterthought (in fact, there are some gorgeous adult spaces that are exclusive to the Wish Class, and we had a blast for ten whole nights!!), the kids spaces are incredible and well thought out, the list goes on and on!! Each ship is special in her own way, and we love them all!

I was looking at booking a Guaranteed Inside Stateroom With Restrictions room, as I don’t care what room we get - does that mean it would be non-cancellable? Even though we’d be booking 18months ahead? Or we’d just lose the deposit ?
A "With Restrictions" fare is non-refundable from the time it is purchased. However, these fares are typically not available until a cruise has been available for a while, and they would not be available for Summer 2027 cruises yet.

Ok cool, I’m happy with the base fare, don’t mind my room location. So my cruise would be cancelable then? I’m not too familiar with DCL specifically bookings. What fare would i be booking if I just want the price from fare?

Any Disney Cruise booking that is for a specific room and not Concierge will be fully refundable, including the deposit, until the date that final payment is due. So anything non-Concierge for summer 2027 that you book now can be cancelled for a full refund for at least 11 months.

I'm hoping for one of the 7 or 8 night Alaskan cruises, but unfortunately we won't be locked in until July since my family always waits to book on the ship for the discount.

Celebrity also stops at Rhodes. We've never been to Hydra or Rhodes, so somehting new. We were in Mykonos twice. It is amazing.
Well, as soon as we started looking at the Celebrity Infinity, it's suffered it's second total power loss in a couple of years and had to be tugged back to Piraeus and they've cancelled at least the next cruise. It was a total power loss, and fortunately for Celebrity, it was close to Piraeus, so at least they were able to get back to shore for a day (I'm sure RCCL execs were breathing a sigh of relief on this one as guess what, the toilets went out on this cruise as well, so if they'd have been out in the open sea, it could have been Poop Cruise v2.0).

So, I think that we'll stay with Virgin. They also visit Rhodes, so the only port we'd miss is Hydra. Plus, you just cannot beat the included food on Virgin, IMHO, it blows every other line's included food out of the water...

You can book now and then see if it is any cheaper to use the discount in July. Sometimes it isn’t.

FYI for people still waiting to book the Adriatic cruise...GTY rates for standard inside and deluxe oceanview are listed.

As of tomorrow, we will be booked on the 5 Night Bahamian with 2 stops at Castaway and a stop at Lighthouse. This will be a return trip with our best friends (including their oldest daughter who wasn't able to attend last time), plus the first time for both of my parents and my mother-in-law.

We love Castaway and have sailed a double dip before. We figured adding another Disney island stop instead of Nassau (where we typically don't get off anyway) was the perfect choice for us.

Cool, so when I book do I have to pick an exact room or can I just let Disney pick for me?

If you book through the Disney Cruise website or call center, in most cases you will be assigned a specific room. On the website, you can see a selection of rooms on a deck plan and choose among them, or just take the one that shows up first. I haven't used the call center, so I'm not sure exactly how that works.

It is possible that if a cruise is selling very quickly and there is limited availability in some stateroom categories, you will be offered a Guarantee Inside, Guarantee Oceanview, or Guarantee Veranda room that will be assigned later by Disney. These Guarantee rooms are not restricted (they are still fully cancellable) but a specific room won't be assigned until closer to the cruise.
