What is Disney Quest?

Took two of my littles there last December on our most recent trip. It is dated and some of the games are non-functional, but we had a good time. I do get the criticism that it can feel creepy though. There are some areas that I can only describe as "dead spots" in the building. Maybe it used to be a lounge, but now it's just some couches in a dark corner. It used to be a virtual reality game, now it's just some old props and stuff in a dark corner. Still, it's worth it if you have the free passes that come with a package.

Can anyone direct me to the announcement that confirms that the NBA deal fell through and that they are delaying the close of DQ until 2017?

I think I remember it when I was 12 in downtown Disney? But when I went to go there it was a lot of money to enter at the time.

Going back to Disney this year but as an adult but my ticket includes Disney Quest, all I can find is 5 levels of interactive tech?

We like Disney Quest. We have been there twice on our non park days. The games are definitely newer than the 1990's. But they don't have the newest and best, no. It's kind of like an 8 year old Dave and Busters, but you get to play anything you want unlimited. My husband and I are adults and we have a great time in there for a few hours playing air hockey, guitar hero, ski ball, Tekken, and mario kart. The highest up floor seems to be the oldest, where they have a lot of classic games like pacman and things, but also games that look almost brand new like bowling and tennis. It's a lot of fun. Look at pictures on Trip Advisor .com and that will give you a good idea how new the games are. Some look to be brand new.
