What is considered crowded? hot?

I'm thinking what one person considers as an ok wait someone else might say it's too long. Same with temps.

I'm thinking 15-20 minutes waits are great. And 10-15 with Fast pass is awesome!

For weather, over 90 is HOT, too hot. 85 is very warm (but doable) and 80 is nice and 70s is perfect.

All that said we went last October (8-15) and the weather was about 85 everyday and we were hot, but we survived and had a great trip. We drank lots of water and had our little fans. Most waits for rides were around the 15 minute mark. It seems like we waited 20 for HM, 30 for Pooh, and I can't even remeber how long dh and ds waited for Test Track, but it seemed like forever. We used FastPass whenever we could.

So, how long of a wait is acceptable and how hot it too hot?

Personally I deal well with warm weather so I think that anything over 95 might be a little too warm, but I think that waiting over 45 minutes for a ride is a long time. In May last year, my mom and I waited at least an hour for SPlash Mountain, but it was worth it :)

I am in total agreement with your thresholds. They look perfect to me.

Too hot is a matter of the day and the mood... For me mostly, just being there is enough to cool me down along with a big bottle of water! The lines, sadly a "too-long" wait doesn't exist because 15min or 115min, if I want to ride that ride, I am waiting! But preferences, that's a different story, I would say 75-85degrees, and a 5-10 minute wait!

But I think we all know what happens when you wish for short lines and cool temps in June when I'll be there. Well, it's early June so it shouldn't be too bad!

45 minutes is pretty much the limit for a wait time. What really grates my cheese is when the time is posted as one thing, but winds up being MUCH longer. I know that CMs can't always control this, but sometimes the difference can be huge.

Hot = anything over 90 (esp. in FL when you factor in humidity)

Well I wont wait in line for more than 30 minutes. I know that is picky, but with so much to do, I can't find it in me to spend hours upon hours of my day on vacation waiting in lines. I figure, I can always go back later at night when the crowds are less.

About when is is crowded? Well, like last week, you can hardly walk through the park. It's shoulder to shoulder everywhere, especially on Main St. and Tomorrowland.

Hot for me is well, it never gets too hot. I live in South Florida. I'm just used to it. I think there were 10 days this winter where I didnt wear shorts.

Wow - I guess I am really picky...It would take a lot for me to get in a 15 minute line. I've been so spoiled as a former CP, and lots of off-season trips with DVC. Weather, the temp doesn't bother me, but I hate the humidity!

Hi. Well, the heat doesn't bother me. Two years ago it was extremely hot and humid. Even the guy who was at the airport said it was unusually hot and humid for Fl. Last year was normal hot. I kinda like it hot - it's great for the water rides and swimming. Plus, a lot of the rides are inside in A/C. The last two years we went in June and it was crowded but there wasn't any ride we couldn't get on. We really took advantage of FP. We love FP.

I agree that the tempetures are relative- we went in July and that was HOT, when we went in May people were saying it was really hot out but we thought it felt great!

We went this past December- I was wearing short sleeves and all the CMs at the Polynesian had heavy winter coats on and gloves! :rotfl2:

I prefer going to WDW when its hot out b/c the pools feel great and so does the AC.

My bf likes WDW better when its cool out- he says we probably save $150 in money for drinks b/c we hardly bought any in Dec. but in May we were constantly buying water/gatorade and sodas!

Well I prefer the heat so I'd say anything over 90* is hot, and 70*-85* are perfect.
I think 30 minute waits are my limit. We had some longer waits on our last visit, but this time we'll have 3 small kids so hopefully it won't be too hard keeping them entertained.

This past January, 1-8, had the most ideal weather I have ever experienced in WDW: mostly sunny, almost no rain, and daily highs of 80 to 82 with no real humidity. Note, it is not usually that good for an entire week in January. We also go when it is real hot so I cannot say there is a max. In the summer, the problem is not really the extreme heat and humidity in the day but instead that you get no relief at night because it stays in the 80's with high humidity (as I have described summer at WDW before: you sweat standing still outside at midnight).

Since we have been to WDW a huge number of times and do not have a feeling that we are compelled to ride everything, we follow one cardinal rule even when there during the high crowd seasons: never get in a line that is longer than 25 minutes no matter how popular the ride is; and usually, unless it is a premier ride like ToT, we won't even wait that long. If we see it is longer and feel like we might still want to do it, we go for fastpass or come back later to see if we get lucky. Note, our following that rule actually meant that we did not ride Test Track until the third year it was there though we went the prior two years.

I'd say anything less than 70's and you wouldn't be able to enjoy the awesome water parks and pools!

Mid to upper 80's is good. I expect 90s in June when we are going.

Well at least now I see I''m not the only one that refuses to wait in line all day.
