What is considered a good rate at the Candy Cane Inn or BWPPI?

Hi all,

We usually stay at HOJO's and love it. However, I would like an alternative in case I can't get the entertainment rate. People seem to like the Candy Cane Inn and BWPPI so I was wondering what is considered a good rate. We are a family of four with two small children. We are fine with two double queen beds. Unfortunately, because of all the extras we have to bring for the kids, a small room is not good for us. With this said, a suite is not necessary either.

Any info would be great!

Thanks in advance.

About 2 years ago we paid about $125 a night for June at BWPPI, I just checked yesterday and it was about $90 for early Dec. If you are a Costco Member go to it's website and book through there, you get a discount of 10% or so, you can also get a discount on the Best Western Web site if you are an AAA member, have a gov ID (I think) and there was something else.

Good luck!!

we've stayed at Hojo's many times, Candy Cane Inn once, and are at BWPPI right now. All 3 are very nice but each has pros and cons. For a small family, as an alternate to Hojo, I would suggest BWPPI. The rooms are definitely bigger, and you are directly across the street from the entrance to DL. And the rate we have now is $116. which was quite a bit less than the CCI. The rooms here also have a small sofa, and coffee table, a nice size small fridge and a microwave, which with little ones would be very handy for breakfast, snacks, etc. the included breakfast here is nothing to write home about, but there are a few kinds of cereal, bagels toast and doughnuts of death. bisquits and gravy, apples oranges, hard boiled eggs, juices, milk coffee (which actually was pretty good!) not nearly as extensive or nice as CCI but the difference in price doesnt justify that extra bit of food for breakfast, and I prefer to eat in the park. When booking she asked if we had any discounts, and I told her the entertainment card, but when we checked in it was listed as the costco rate which is the same discount, and they did not ask to see my card.
Like I said we have stayed at Hojos many times over the last 20 years, and really like it, but this short hop into the park is awesome!

Thanks smiley_face2! The breakfast options sound great. Well, except for the donuts of death. ;) We don't eat much for breakfast so the items you listed would be perfect.

Hope you are having loads of fun on your trip!
