What is closed at DHS?

Okay, so I'm sure there is a list somewhere, but I cannot find it. I have seen a lot of comments that mention that DHS is not worth it right now. We love DHS and still want to spend a couple of days there.

We are going to WDW mid-October. What attractions are closed?

Thanks!

Very few are closed.

American Idol
Backstage Tour
Animation Tour & Academy
are the most recent of any "size."

Legend of Capt. Jack Sparrow (a "non-attraction" to begin-with.)

Thanks for the quick reply Robo. If the list will be the same in October, it shouldn't put a damper on our DHS days, although I do LOVE Animation Academy and will miss that.

Thanks again Robo. You are always so quick with the info!

Jedi Training Academy too if you are going in October. Unless you are there Oct 1st - 4th, then you might be ok.

Yup.
Fortunately, that one is just a "refurb," of sorts.

and One Man's Dream are also closed.

I don't think One Man's Dream has actually closed yet. They did remove Walt's office/desk; it is supposed to be placed at the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco. There are rumors that it will close, but no official announcement. As part of the Animation Academy closing, the meet & greets that were in there are gone or moved. Baymax and Hiro are gone; Mickey or Minnie moved.

With the reconfiguration of DHS, have there been rumors of Sci-Fi Dine-In closing, or is the assumption that it and ABC Commissary will be spared from Star Wars and Toy Story lands?

All kinds of speculation about any and all buildings and attractions.
No information provided.

Still plenty to do at DHS if you count all the shows. Simply due to the spread out show times (and length of shows), it is hard to fit everything in in one day.. it has just lost it's "studio" attractions.
Look at it this way .. with the announcement of new stuff coming (and people just thinking there is not much to do at the park), the park should be not very crowded.

We can GUESS what will be closing in the near future and it just depends how much area the Star Wars and Toy Story lands will encompass.

I would think a lot depends what they decide to do with the Echo lake area and the buildings around it. I would hope they would keep that area (and the restaurants around it) as it fits into the "old Hollywood" theme in the center of the park . but Sci-Fi Drive-in is AWFULLY close to Star Tours.

I can solve the issue-

:thumbsup2 Definitely not, did it over the weekend with the expectation it may be gone sooner rather than later.

As well as these, Sounds Dangerous is still closed with no replacement. We liked Capt. Jack Sparrow, which was definitely better to have there than a pathetic lounge. With all the closures we're not currently going there (even though we didn't care about American Idol)
