What is an adult?

What if you turn 18 on the cruise and it is a new Pacific itinerary.
You then cross the Samoa islands and the international data line and you are now 17???

The drinking age on the Disney Cruise Line is 21 at all times. Is there any indicator of this on the Key to the World Card? My nephew is 21 years old. does he need to carry his id with him?
Yes, there is a note on the key - it's a letter, I think "A" to indicate an over 21 adult. There was a different letter for 18-20 and under 18. I overheard someone who was 21 who had left her ID in the room ask the bartender. Still, should carry the ID just to be safe.

I wish WDW had an adult only restaurant like Palo.

Victoria and Alberts is very close. Over three visits I have seen 2 children, both very well behaved - no issues whatsoever.

They do not put up with improper behavior - children or adult, dress codes are enforced.

Not to mention the food is awesome!

They also don't have a children's menu - and most parents will balk at paying over $100 to buy the kids a meal they won't enjoy. The menu they have isn't very appealing to most children.

The only thing about wdw having an adults only restuarant is that there arent kids clubs.:)

Several of the people on our cruise meet thread are going without their children. They are very much looking forward to the adult areas. I find it funny that there are always people who want everything to revolve around children when they have children. Those are usually the same people when their children are grown that complain the loudest about needing adult only areas.:rolleyes1

This is pretty much human nature. Most people are going to supoort what ever benfits them the most. My kids are grown and gone. So I support keeping the adults area for 18 and over only. But if I had a fabulous 17 year old granddaughter, I might think differently. Of course I will stick to the rules myself. I know the argument of driving 2 miles over the speed limit, but that doesn't wash with me. Yes everyone breaks rules. But if my DD was sitting next to me in the car and said, "Mom you are over the speed limit.", you can bet I will slow it down. Why? Because I want to set a good example. Yes, we all break rules. But does that mean it is a good thing to do and we want to encourage it?
