We will be staying at BWV Oct. 3 - Oct. 6 2003. We have a preferred studio with a Gtd. Boardwalk view. We have requested a daybed for our nine yr. old, since we will be having a total of 5 people in our room. What is this studio "plus" thing I read about in a recent post? What are my chances of getting a daybed in my catagory??

Thanks,

McJeff

Studio plus is the name formally given to studios at the BWV that have a small bench that is sometimes referred to as a day bed. It was too small on our last trip for our then 8 year old dd. It is not only short but narrow as well.

I agree, it really is a misnomer. My then 5 yr old son tried to sleep on the "daybed" but it was too small and too hard. Plus you can't get a guarantee that you will get a studio plus. Go with the two bedroom instead. A studio is much too small for five people unless one is under the age of 3 yrs old.

You will be over the occupancy limits of the studio and 1 BR. That is between you and DVC. You're 9 y/o will not fit in the day bed unless she is VERY tiny. The studio plus is not guaranteed anymore though it was if booked until a couple of years ago. I'd either take a twin size air mattress or get a larger unit.
