What is a Steamer Trunk?

My room has a steamer trunk. What is it, and should I be happy I have one? Thanks all.

It is an upright trunk with a couple of shelves in it for storage. I think you should be glad you have one in your room because it gives you more storage.

It is not refrigerated in anyway. It is like the old "traveling" trunks, turned upright and has shelves in it. It's like an extra mini closet....very mini. But you can put clothes, cameras or any other knick knacks in there.

No, I believe it is attached to the floor. With all the rolling and rocking on the ship..eeeee...imagine if it was not .

There is a cooler in your room - a little one, that your room steward can keep stocked with ice if you ask.

It's empty. There is a small 'beverage cooler' in the room- about the size of a small dorm fridge & chilled, but warmer than a typical fridge. We put a few zip-locks full of ice in ours to chill it down.
