what is a scrapbook???

DO you believe it -
kids in DD's class don't know what a scrapbook is!

So last night I made an entire chipboard album (ok only 12 pages) but It took me 2 1/2 hours last night to make it and it came out really cute - Unfortunately I was way to tired to scan it when it was done and now it is gone to school for her teacher...

she also took a 12x12 vacation album from the Dude Ranch to show them...
along with her regular books and clarinet she was carring more than she weighs down the street this morning to her carpool!

Me too! I thought that this whole "I'm not spending any money on scrapbooking stuff had rendered her an amnesiac(sp?)

Then you have Cyndi posting about MORE new products.. I still can't find the EK Success Whale of a Punch Mickey head!

I was kind of worried too. I mean, first she sends herself ribbon from the ribbon swap, then the next thing you know she's asking us what's a scrapbook. Wow! I thought that Nyquil really had her a little dazed and confused.

PattyT, I'm glad to know you're okay. How sweet of you to share all your scrapbooking with DD's class, and especially to make one just for them. Now that we all know you're okay, I have to tell you DO NOT read the "Out of Town Scrapbook Stores" thread. You've gotta stay away from that one since we know you're getting ready for your upcoming trip. Repeat after me.."I will not wander off to scrapbook stores while on vacation...I will not wander off to scrapbook stores while on vacation".

I'm betting the package she sent to herself was mine. ( I haven't got it yet ) I told her to use the same envelope . Won't make that mistake again. PattyT if you need to go shopping please do, because it seems to be screwing with your head. Especially since you forgot to take pictures !!!!!!

cold is gone
the ribbons were not yours Cyndi - forget whose though...
it was cheaper to shop for scrapcrap as I have now purchased a 17" laptop and accessories (HAD to go wireless or it WOULD defeat the purpose right)
so I am still shopping - but it is a write off for this year at least.

I have not looked at that thread in a while - i am afraid - very afraid...
although for my birthday i said all i wanted is to buy whateer i want on vacation without any funny looks
i think i really want that lincoln logs wilderness lodge set!

but now that i got the laptop i am not so sure i will get away with all the shopping.
