What Is A "don't Miss" Treat In Wdw?

The HUGE rice krispie treats w/ a 1/2" layer of chocolate on top. I buy this at the Disney Marketplace and I nibble on it for several days because it would give me a stomach ache if I ate it all at once. My DD wanted to try it last trip but she couldn't open her mouth up wide enough to get it in, so she gave up. I naturally was more than willing to share my precious treat w/ her, but it didn't break my heart when I had it all to myself.:)

The new desert at the GF Cafe
Chocolate Ganache (melted and warm) served with marshallows, strawberries, banana and pineapple.
Major yummies!!

jeleebeene, I am so glad you mentioned the Kaki Gori. I read about those on here. Saw them many times as we passed but thought they were just another snow cone. Decided on our last trip to try one. It was wonderful!!! Thanks to whoever posted it wasn't just a snow cone on a thread similar to this one.

We still haven't tried a beaver tail yet but will try one soon. I love the huge Mickey rice crispy treats but haven't tried the one with chocolate yet. Love the Dole Whips, Mickey ice cream and the Rasberry Lemonade.

I have never tried any of the treats listed except the Banana. Darn Atkins. I guess I'll have to sneak a treat or two, or three...lol on Monday.

I love the Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies at The Main St. Bakery in the MK!::yes::

For a non-sweet snack, I really like the egg rolls at the small coke vendor in Adventure land by Swiss Family Tree House. They are really tasty and help hold off the hunger when you have a late dinner PS.

I like the little bag of doughnuts they sell at the water parks. The small doughnuts are served warm with lots of cin. sugar.

It's not a sweet treat, but I love the tomato, mozzerella, and basil sandwiches at the MK bakery. I wanted one for breakfast on our last trip, but I had to wait until MNSSHP because they didn't have them out for breakfast.
I also love the carmel sundaes at the MK ice cream shop.

The fried dough with cinnamon and confectioner's sugar that the sell at the water parks. If your a bit chilly, these are as fun to hold and smell as they are to eat, and what a mess!! :teeth:

We really like getting crepes from France. Dh like the ones that have chocolate sauce on them and I like any kind of fruit on mine.

I have never had any of the treats that the above posters have mentioned. I have wanted to try the Dole whip, but haven't made it over to the stand, maybe this year. Whoever posted the web site for the Beaver Tails, thanks! I had no idea what they were, but after seeing them, they do look very yummy!

I vote for a caramel apple dipped in peanuts from the candy store on main street. The caramel is warm and soft and so tasty ::yes::

I will also put in a good word for school bread in Norway. I am going to have to try a beaver tail and a dole whip next week.

We call those mini donuts here. Yummy! I've never had them at WDW because we can easily find them around here.

My favorites:

a hot fudge sundae from Ghirardelli - downtown disney

a malt from the Plaza Restaurant - MK

dole whip

Kaki Gori - yum!!

caramel apple

a bag of the chocolate covered mickey pretzels - they are so addicting

chocolate covered strawberries

any dessert from the bakery in France

I vote for the chocolate covered, mickey-shaped rice krispy treats on a stick. They're my favorite. Also, The Plaza restaurant makes THE best chocolate milk shakes.

I don't know what happened to my post from last night, so I will post again. My two favourite treats are Cheddar Cheese soup at Le Cellier in Epcot, and the No Way Jose at Beaches & Cream, both delish!!

I thought the same thing! Then I started searching, and found out this was asked twice. I thought I must have imagined posting! :teeth:

I agree with many of the ones listed - beaver tails and dole whips are at the top of our list every trip.

No one has mentioned one of our favorites -

Hot dogs at Casey's on Main Street in MK ... can't go without having at least 1-2 of these every trip!

It's a tradition for me to have a citrus swirl at the Sunshine Tree Terrace every time I go (for the last 27 years). But with adkins, couldn't do it last time. Instead I found some sugar free treats that were yummy. Sugar free cheesecake at the expresso place in Future World at Epcot and the sugar free chocolate mousse at Norway, yummmm.

I also forgot about these. Yummy.

Just wanted to let you know you can make these yourself. use refrigerter biscuits, rip in half, drop in hot oil and cook till brown then remove and place in brown sandwich bag with either, powered sugar or sugar and cinnimon, shake for a couple of min. Yummy. The girl scouts call these darn-goods because they are darn good!
