What is a DDE Card

I have been reading so much about a DDE card. What the heck is it? I have absolutely no idea, I think it has something to do with an AP, which I will be purchasing next. I would appreciate any and all assistance TIA

It is the disney dining experience card for annual passholders and florida residents. It gets you 20$ food/drink at certain restaurants. Blackout days apply on all major holidays.
